Need to figure out how to login without having to divert to separate tab/outside of app
Logging in every single time
I enjoy the app, enjoy the questions, but having to login every single time I open the app is obnoxious.
No persistent login
Super annoying that login isn’t retained. I have to log in via a web browser every single time I open the app. Why? This isn’t a banking/financial app that needs such heightened security.
Broken login flow
Since update the login flow through the AAN website it’s hit or miss if it works. Last year as an AAN member.
Log in faliure
Hope they figure this out, been excited to try it and the idea seems very nice but whenever I tries to log in it keeps redirecting me to web page and then the app back and forth, it’s really frustrating
Great…When it works
The idea of a daily question is a great one. Overall, the questions are a bit of a mixed bag with difficulties widely ranging from novice to expert. The explanations are generally quite good. Every once in a while, there could be more detail on why a specific answer is incorrect. My biggest complaint, however, is that the app will frequently not allow me to login. This really only started occurring when the app began requiring login via web browser upon every start. You used to be able to login directly through the app. I’m not entirely sure why this changed, but it has certainly been a change for the worse. There are days where I cannot do the question because of this error.

Annoying login issues
Ever since the recent change in the way logins are handled, it has become a repeatedly frustrating process, as the app redirects users to AAN’s webpage to login which at times fails and give out a login failure error. The app should be reworked in a way that logins are processed within the app, and does not require logging in every time the app is launched.

Can’t login
Drop and roll I used to like the app when I could login. It’s silly. I have to keep logging in multiple times. But now I can’t login at all. Despite being a paying member. I have no way to submit any questions through the AAN website that I can see.
Update is annoying
Now it takes several times to log in and answer the question. Sometimes the log in fails. I hope the people who developed the app can fix this.
Update unusable
Since the update, I have been unable to login. It links to the website then immediately back to the app and comes up as invalid before I can enter anything.
Broken with latest update
The latest update required logging in and linking to the main website. It opens up the browser then the app to login. I’m often tempted to not complete the QOD because the app only logs me in successfully 1/3 of the time. It worked much better prior to the update.
AAN.com log in flow
The app is great, but it’s a pain having to log in through AAN every time instead of logging in directly through the app. I wish they would restore the app login to the way it was previously.
New update making login difficult
Since the most recent update 3.0.2, there is a new log in flow where it routes me to aan.com but then on iOS safari it routes me back to the app and says log in failed. I have tried logging in separately to aan.com on my safari which sometimes works, other times not. It is always hit or miss whether the app opens or not. This is not a good new feature and it makes log in significantly difficult. You still get two stars for the concept because the QoD is invaluable for board prep. However, this bug of not being able to log in needs to be smoothed out.

Poor questions
I overall like the convenience of the app, but after 20 or so questions, there has been a heavy weight towards pediatric neurology, neurosurgery and hospital acute care. Very little for us dedicated outpatient adult neurology physicians. No questions yet on Migraine, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, tremor, neuropathy, the bread and butter of neurology.
Update:
20 questions in and I really feel like this is a pediatric and hospital neurology app. Lots of zebras in these woods and little appropriate for the practicing outpatient general neurologist.
Maybe this was designed for residents, but residents aren’t looking for SE CME.

App doesn’t let you login.
Doesn’t work
It won’t show me the question when I press “view question” and the archive tab doesn’t work. Just put the questions up on a website or something.
