Mispronunciation
Response from developer
Thank you for giving Neuvoice a try, and we’re sorry this pronunciation issue made the app unusable for you. We’ve fixed the pronunciation of “Shane” in our latest update (version 3.6.8), and while we were at it, we also conducted a thorough review of popular names to improve pronunciation accuracy across the board. Please note that existing generated audio is cached and will not automatically reflect these fixes. To hear the updated pronunciations, please reimport the book or switch to a different voice that has not been used for that book. We’re also working on a fully customizable pronunciation dictionary, so you’ll be able to specify exactly how names and words should be pronounced based on your own preferences. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. Thank you again for taking the time to report this - your feedback genuinely helped us improve Neuvoice, and we hope the latest update makes your experience much better.
Jumps around
Response from developer
Thank you very much for the kind words, and we are really sorry about the jumping issue. That indeed sounds frustrating, sorry! We will try to reproduce it today - assuming it's PDF related because of the specific page structure you mentioned - and we'd love to get to the bottom of this as quickly as possible. Sometimes issue like this can be book specific though, so If you’re comfortable, please reach out to support@neuvat.com and share the book that’s causing the issue. That’s the best and fastest way for us to reproduce the problem, investigate what’s happening, and fix it properly. We can also provide updates via email on the progress and status of the fix. Thanks again for reporting this, feedback like this really helps us make the app better. 🤝 -- Update (6/17): We have identified the root cause of the issue and are currently working on a fix. Once the fix is ready, we will submit a hotfix build, version 3.6.5, to Apple for approval. Please kindly bear with us during the Apple review process, which may take a couple of days. -- Update 2 (6/17): The latest build (version 3.6.5) has now been released on the App Store (amazingly fast for Apple review this time!). Please update the app and give it a try when you have time - the chapter jumping issue should now be fixed. We really appreciate your feedback and patience. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to support@neuvat.com with any issues, feedback, or questions in the future.
