…for an older game. Why? Because I know that I personally stay away from games that haven’t been played recently. Don’t fear this one - aside from a little misstep in the Bonus Game, the game still played beautifully. The story is easy to follow, but has some meat to it, a solid mystery, and the drawings are rich and well-defined.
I’m going to move on through the series (again) because these older games are far better that the FTP nonsense, or the expensive saga games.

I’ve already bought this game
As I’ve said I bought this and many other games in the past from here and now they’ve been updated I’m expected to pay for them again.
It’s really unfair as when I purchased them it was for ever so you said.

Don’t play
On ipad it quits to desktop as soon as you open the talking door. It quits every time. Fix your games!
Really enjoyable
I have played several games lately, but so far this has been my favorite. I love the variety of puzzles offered. I haven’t written a review in a while, but this game is worth the extra time.

My favorite Nevertales series
I love the Nevertales games but none more than the three Alice stories. Great HOPS, good length and fun puzzles. I play them back to back several times a year. Great fun.

Nevertales: The Beauty Within
I had to start the game over three times because I would get stuck and I couldn’t move forward even using the guide constantly. The premise of the game is good and fun and I’m being very careful of my moves. I find most of the puzzles too difficult if I understand them at all. But that’s just me. Wish me luck. I want to finish this time and play the bonus content. 🧐

Frustrating!
This game is several years old. It’s graphics are extremely appealing and it’s visually a delight. But, one can’t put the spacesuit together correctly as there’s a glitch somewhere.

Was enjoying it until the launch code wouldn’t work.
Started out good and enjoyed the game, enjoyed the storyline and graphics were good. Then when I was at the launch pad the code wouldn’t work. The buttons didn’t move. Very disappointing as I reloaded several times and never was able to progress from there. Version history shows nothing for 4 years. Either fix the bugs or stop selling it.
Update. I decided I would start again to see if I could finish. This time it stalled in the early stages. So I’ve had enough. Too bad as the game was interesting. If the developers ever fix it I’d try again but only if I see it’s been fixed.

Great game, and such a find, until it froze
Update: I started chapter 7, did the car fine, but then my inventory, controls, etc. all vanished. I’ve enjoyed the game enormously until now, but I can’t face restarting it in the hopes that it will magically work.
Since it’s 3 years old, there seems to be no help to be had. All the forum threads are locked. It’s still for sale, however, so either fix it or remove it from the store.

Because the game was so delightful and innovative for its time, it stuck in my head — the two heads and the stained glass puzzles in particular — and I’ve looked for it off and on since, but not remembering its name made finding it seem impossible.
So, imagine my delight when I downloaded the deal of the day! I didn’t remember the beginning at all, but the three books looked familiar and when I got to the two puzzles I mentioned before, I realized that it was the game I had been looking for. I’ve loved all of the Nevertales series which has lovely graphics, challenging puzzles and, unlike so many other games, wit. I get so tired of shallow, humorless characters.

I purchased this game e years ago, but...
When I started playing it again yesterday, it popped up the unlock screen. And when I clicked on the already purchased link, it said it didn’t find a record of my purchase. This game would get a 5star from me, but not till my purchase gets restored. I don’t want to pay for it again. Please help!

Love the Nevertales games. Gorgeous scenery, engaging storyline, lovely fairytale characters to interact with, collectible roses and loads of extras. Lots of different mini games and varied interactive HOS.
It's a very long game and bonus plus 3 extra, short, chapters which you can unlock.

Usually I'd deduct a star for this but not on this occasion as the game itself was great! 🦉😍

got ripped off- charged full price without authorization
i had this on my ipad, and planned to buy it while it was on sale. i clicked “unlock now” to find out whether or not i did, as i sometimes forget to purchase in time. i do the pretty regularly, and when i click unlock now, i always get an option to click “already purchased” just to be sure that i have not, you know, already purchased it sometime in the past, -but- this time upon clicking unlock now, it immediately sold it to me for full price. i was never even asked if the purchase was okay or approved by me or anything. seven freaking bucks. i never pay that much. pretty peeved by this.
