Ingame Modul Store fehlerhaft
Das Spiel an sich ist klasse und nicht ohne Grund ein Klassiker im RPG-Genre. Ich würde mir da noch eine Portierung von Neverwinter Nights 2 für das IPad wünschen.
Was mir momentan sehr negativ aufstößt, ist die Tatsache, dass man schon gekaufte Module im Ingame Modul Store des Spieles nach einer Neuinstallation nicht erneut herunterladen kann. Man kann seine Käufe über den Button Restore nicht wieder herstellen. Es passiert nichts. Wenn man seine alten Module herunterladen möchte, gibt es keinen Downloadfortschritt. Lediglich ein endlos drehendes Kreissymbol.
Das Problem ist hier im Store bekannt, im Internet lässt es sich auch googeln. Lösungsvorschläge wie anderes WLAN, VPN, Reset, Neuanmeldung, usw. funktionieren nicht.
Darum und weil sich das HD Texture Pack nicht ohne Fehler installieren lässt, kann ich nur das Basisspiel empfehlen. Wegen dem Problem mit den schon gekauften Modulen gebe ich dennoch nur einen Stern.
Da muss unbedingt ein Update her!

Das Spiel selbst funktioniert auf iOS/iPadOS weiterhin sehr gut. Allerdings gibt es offenbar ein schwerwiegendes Problem mit den zusätzlichen Kampagnen und DLCs – auch mit den kostenlosen Inhalten.
Bei mir ließen sich die DLCs nach einer Neuinstallation des Spiels nicht mehr korrekt wiederherstellen oder erneut herunterladen. Der „Restore Purchases“-Button funktionierte nicht zuverlässig und der Download-Dialog erschien nicht mehr. Interessanterweise konnte ich auf einem anderen Gerät einzelne Inhalte erneut über den Kaufdialog aktivieren, weil der App Store erkannt hat, dass sie bereits gekauft wurden.
Mein dringender Tipp an alle Nutzer:
Wenn ihr eure DLCs und zusätzlichen Kampagnen einmal vollständig installiert habt, sichert euch den kompletten Neverwinter-Nights-Datenordner als Backup. Nicht nur die Spielstände, sondern möglichst den gesamten NWN-Ordner mit allen Modulen und zusätzlichen Dateien.
Bei mir hat folgender Workaround funktioniert:
Vollständig installierten NWN-Ordner vom iPhone sichern → kompletten Ordner auf das iPad übertragen → danach wurden die Kampagnen wieder als installiert erkannt und konnten genutzt werden.
Ohne dieses Backup besteht offenbar das Risiko, dass bereits gekaufte oder kostenlose DLCs nach einer Neuinstallation nicht mehr über die App selbst heruntergeladen werden können.
Da unklar ist, ob die iOS-Version noch aktiv unterstützt wird, würde ich jedem empfehlen, seine vollständig installierten Inhalte unbedingt zusätzlich zu sichern. So kann man sie später wieder auf das Gerät übertragen, falls die integrierte Download- oder Restore-Funktion nicht mehr funktioniert.

DLC Won’t Download
Purchased this game in the hopes to relive my old PC Diamond Edition days and everything was working fine till I realized that there was DLC for free and pay for DLC. So I bought the Heroes of Neverwinter and it won’t let me install any of the DLC. Can someone explain this to me?
Great game but problem with Italian language
Great game overall, but there is a problem with the Italian language pack.
When I try to download the Italian language from the in-game store, the loading spinner appears but the download never starts and nothing happens.

Eye of Beholder 2:Legend of Darkmoon
Starts off great, engaging and is the right challenge level. I am unable to continue in certain areas. Level 2 of Azure tower requires getting past elderly elf heads by using dispel magic I think, but as a fighter I cannot do this. My magic using companions cannot target an object with this spell. Is this a bug? Would really like to finish the game.

Right Click does not work
I have found that the “Right Click” on the Mac version of NeverWinter Nights does not work. This means you can’t examine the items in your inventory and makes the games useless. I recommend you don’t buy for a Mac until this problem is fixed.

Absolutely fantastic iPad game
Truly can’t get much better of an experience now. DoS:2 and Bg1 / 2 are about the only games that trump this for me. Overall there’s been a lot of work to make this run smoothly on even the older iPads. I set the iCloud saves up so I can easily transfer them between PC and iOS. My biggest problem is that the mouse controls don’t actually work, or at least I couldn’t get them to work despite the options being there, and having a mouse connected

Really good!
One of the best games to play on iPad. External keyboard and mouse controls work really well, would be good if they fixed some bugs like the game not working on external displays and shared pausing not working in multiplayer.

Отличный порт с ПК на iOS этой легенды РПГ. Играбельно что на iPad, что на iPhone. После нескольких простых манипуляций, описанных в комментариях к этой же игре тут, ставится русский язык. Установил - разблокировал школьные воспоминания и пошел спасать Neverwinter. Однозначно советую.
Great Game but cannot update
I have played the game daily on a permanent world but cannot update the app. The button just says, ‘open’ on this iPad Pro. I tested on an old iPad Pro and have updated to the latest version there. I have the latest iPadOS
Classic pc NWN ported
I have owned this since it came out. It waited to do the review until I really spent some time with the game.
I bought NWN for pc back when it came out and the expansions.
This is a great port.
Some things I like: when you put up your phone to do things or goto the Home Screen the game stays up without draining the battery. The game does not reset or have issues resuming.
Another thing: the game play uses up very little battery life running in performance mode on my IPhone 16 pro max. Out of all the games I have and I have the best AAA games this one runs great.
The character I have right now is a Rogue/fighter/Blackguard I’m progressing through the first campaign. Then doing the expansions I never beat.
Let me also add to this review: you can do all the PC CONSOLE command codes by doing ## before a command. The first command is ##DebugMode 1
After that all the commands work with ##(command) (2nd part of command data). You input these using the chat button, which is to the right above the action bar.
If your game touch screen mouse becomes bugged at a point after using some commands and appears like the icon of an item you summoned just save and reload and it will be fixed but you will have to enable debug mode again.
