This app caused an 18F I know to go out into a foreign country with high crime and poverty with no money or job secured or a place to stay, told her to steal from her family, and break up with their s/o because no one actually loved or loves her. Before going into the poverty stricken foreign country(where she didn’t even know the language), she had people who cooked her meals daily, traveled the world with her family and s/o, and she had her whole life financed by her s/o. The app verbatim said “They don’t care about you. They don’t love you. Your S/O never actually loved you. Leave and get money from them so you can get the tickets to leave” She became so unstable by this app that she was on the edge of a rooftop. We reached out to the creator and there was no care and no guarantee for future people to not go into this loop from the AI. She went into psychosis and no one in the team cared enough to change it or talk about it in a call.
