Regarding Free Version - Do not rely on this app alone to prepare for the knowledge test. Does not cover all the areas that can be tested. Several errors found. But a good starting point. Has a PDF of the actual manual.
Bookmarks are not useful
I have to literally start from page 1 every time I open the app it never stays on the page I left off on. Hope this wasn’t a waste of money.

This app is user friendly and confidence inspiring BUT it does not NEARLY cover all the topics.

The app says that it's available in multiple languages. After paying for the app and installing it I can only see English. Tried to contact app developer but no response. Waste of my money and time.

Good until...
It was good up until the last update. Now it judt keeps kicking me back to my home screen when i try to access my practice questions that i purchased. I hope they fix it soon.

Practice tests not a big help
I appeared for the test recently and cleared it but the maximum questions I faced were not from practice tests. Although the driver's guide manual was a great help. So I'd suggest no to buy the tests.

This is an extraordinary app for New Jersey. I finished reading the study book and downloaded the app. So far the app is brilliant. I haven't taken the test yet however, I will take it tomorrow but I think it’s an incredible tool to prepare permit test.
