So quirky. So much fun!
I love this app. It is logical and novel. There is some interface friction but it actually works to make one work more intentionally and creatively. This is the most cute+unique art app I’ve ever used and it will never leave my iPhone.

Great app with so much potential
This app is great but desperately needs some quality of life improvements. Also uploading designs has been broken since the server or something went down, please don’t give up on this little gem!

I have been using this app almost every week for almost two years now and it’s fantastic! I hope that it get some QoL changes though bc I feel it would truly help it excel. The recent changes to the undo function is a great example of the changes I hope are in store! Thanks for amazing app!

So close to being 5 stars
I love the virtual console like feel of the app but some usability things really slows down the workflow and makes it hard to get into a groove. Also the app on my ipad is stuck in a foreign language and whenever I try to change it the app just crashes.

Great concept but needs some QoL Updates
Let me start off by saying I love this app and the art it lets me create. But the UI / UX is frustrating at times and really gets in the way of me fully enjoying the process. Having said that I do really enjoy the kinda “virtual console” feel you get from the UI so if that could be kept while also just streamlining some things that would be awesome!

Missing basic features
Please add basic features like the ability to increase canvas size and symmetry. Canvas size is very limited. Also very annoying is having to press the shape every time you want to draw one block, why??

Fun PETSCII-like drawing tool
The shapes don’t align as nicely as they could and only having a single undo step is annoying, but everything else is super simple to use and really fun!
Not age appropriate
The app claims to be 4+ but it has content that is not age appropriate. Not recommended for young minds.
Has a lot of potential for designers
App is beautiful and user friendly. I run a small record label and E-store; the main art style uses a lot of tiling on square grids. Using New Pixels actually inspired the art direction. I’ve learned though that It’s incredibly hard to make this kind of art in illustrator- New Pixels is the only app that’s doing it.
I realize the software is geared towards casual users and not as much graphic designers, but these are the features I’d love to see:
-it’s tedious to have to reselect tiles every time you draw; would be much more enjoyable if you could continue drawing even if you lift your finger/stylus. Especially for doing diagonal lines.
-Double finger undo + triple finger redo gestures would be cool, I always go for that because I’m used to procreate and affinity designer.
-More undo history, at least one or two more.
-Png or svg support. I get it if it’s a feature that might confuse casual users though.
-Exporting to photos is not working for me. It only works if I share to Dropbox, which is fine but just thought I’d let you know.
Kudos to the developers, it’s a lovely app and can’t wait to use more.

Problemas botones superiores
Desde hace unos días no puedo usar los tres botones superiores para poder escoger el tamaño de la cuadricula y quitar las lineas. Solo tengo acceso a los colores.

I wish an option for choosing bigger grid layout than 18x18. Although that, really great and easy app.

I’m still getting used to it but this app is great for making little creations when you’re just waiting around or whatever

Gute Idee, aber das wichtigste ist nur schlecht bedienbar: der Canvas-Editor.
Wenn man eine neue Kachel auswählt, muss man sein Brush jedes Mal neu auswählen. Das nervt 10 Sekunden nachdem man die App benutzt hat :).

I’ve only given it four stars because I accidentally logged out and I put my username and email back in to try and log back in but it keeps saying that the combination is incorrect so at the moment the game is totally useless please sort this out other wise love this game ❤️
