App Never Works / Constantly Erases Info
This has to be one of the worst apps I have used. My company has a partnership with the company so their vending machines are littered across our office. Would be great if you could use them but literally no one does because their app to open the machine never works/endlessly loads or best yet just closes out with a black screen when you log in. Terrible app and been trying to get a snack for a year and a half to no avail so great job at loosing money and keeping me thin…..

Can’t use money loaded in app online. Physical locations have disappeared. Waste of app space.
How can I use my balance?
Have a $40 balance in the app that I can’t use as the website no longer sells products. I also tried to use the app in a physical store location to pay for goods, but the manager said I could not pay there using the app…
A bunch of thieves
I had about $8 on my app account and there is nothing in there now. No response from customer support.

Dislike the points change
I’ve been an avid user of this app for nearly 4 years and love the content and design. But I especially love the option to earn points to receive a $10 bonus in your account. You simply read articles or makes purchases; for every 300 points earned, you received $10.
Suddenly as of last week, you have to earn 1,000 points for to earn the same bonus??? Three times as much is excessive. Very disappointed. At the very least let us use our top-up points online like you used to be able to. The physical shops haven’t even been open on NYC ferries for 6 months!

Useless
I got this to buy a yoga mat I saw at the store, but the app just pushes Hyperallergetic news stories and ads. Deleted it within 2 minutes of downloading.
Friday Evening, no liquor 😒😒
I just put $40 on this app to buy a cup wine for me and my friends only to find out they have no liquor on the boat. Get it together ferry service!! You should 100% have that available on a Friday evening esp on a 50 min ride! Now I’m just stuck w this money here until the next time I ride the ferry on a Friday. Big let down.

This seems to be only for NY peeps. The stories are boring. No clue why you need to upload money.

Second try. Not so sure of the security of this app. I know they are trying but interfere is just messy. Something that is irritating is apps that insist you register before getting see anything in the app. It’s intrusive.

Hey! We're growing. Just wanted to let you know that we're now in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Minneapolis airports, so you can use the app more meaningfully in those areas. New Orleans, Seattle and Denver are being added this year.

App problem
I added my card to my account and uploaded money into the app but when I tried to use it to pay it says “insufficient funds” and that I have 0 balance in the account when I just added money into it. I would like that I can return my money back to my bank account but I cannot so I hope one of you guys can reach out to me.

Customer service issues and highway robbery
I’m still waiting for a refund of a returned game from 8 days ago. The original worker apparently did not know how to process a return and I never got my money back. After digging for alternate contact info, I was emailed by someone promising they could rectify it. Gave her some information and it’s been crickets ever since. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!!

It’s like free money
We live in a world run by apps so how cool is it to use the app to purchase things. Plus when you add money to the app they give you more. I got a $50 Herschel bag for like $28 bucks using the app.
Great app and experience
Very unique app for your commute and has great benefits and is super polished. It’s awesome. Navigation can be confusing since it’s swipe based but there’s nothing quite like this app. Impressive
Beyond Buggy
Video ad popups launch at random and when you try to push them away it's a 12 click process, where they disappear and pop up again. I clicked on an article about dogs and got an article on an underground Chinese fight club. Probably the trashiest interface I've tried in a long time. In between being promoted to add more money to your account and showing you overpriced items to buy you get a spattering of poorly written articles that are linked in from sites that are 60/40 ads and content. A waste of a download.

Our editorial team has taken this to heart and has weeded out any site that springs up with any video ads, or any "take-over" adverts. We can't control every website, but we can control linking to them from the news feed. Sorry you were having issues with some of the news sites we linked to. It's never our intention to show obnoxious ads. And thanks a ton for the feedback.

interesting articles. i hate the full size video ads that take over your screen when the app is open. you have to close them multiple times. it's very intrusive.
in the recent update listening to the daily playlist no longer gives you a credit. avoid upgrading if possible.
