NY Post App- Needs Work
Fair and balanced. Page Six could improve by representing more of the existing population/demographic. Should try checking on the population percentages by race, religion, gender, age, etc. Appeal to the broader, existing audience. 7/9/21 Update: for some bad reason you can no longer open an article in Safari where it’s possible to enlarge the type so that it’s, you know, actually readable. 8/4/21: font can be enlarged in settings. Works great. Thank you NY Post. UPDATE: Need to stop showing “Today’s Top Videos” on top of unrelated stories. Very disturbing and unwarranted. Confusing to tap to read a selected column and have a totally unrelated picture of a video that has nothing to do with the story you want to read about. Otherwise it’s a very good app. Just eliminate this dumb change. 5/27/23 UPDATE: Same comments regarding Page Six and “Todays Top Videos” continues to obscure the current story being viewed. Why do you ask for feedback comments if you never improve anything? NEW ISSUE: Currently we can no longer tap a picture in your column to make it larger. Why did you change that functionality?? Why do you change things that work and leave things that need fixing?!

Today, the app was updated to again allow “tap-to-zoom” on photos. This is a very timely customer friendly response to feedback. Well done to the NY POST app!!!!

Too many problems
Why all the issues such as the screen jumps to the top after scrolling down many articles. Or making a comment and it says you need to log in then it does something and the post button comes back. Or my favorite. You touch the reply button and nothing happen
Indecent Publications
You guys posted a video of a minor who had to be rescued by lifeguards. His swim trunks were taken by the ocean and there was no blur used to protect that child’s decency. Disgusting journalism.

Comment section
The app is constantly having issues with the comment section. Extremely frustrating
Average at best
Moving around the news it is not intuitive. I want to thumbs up a comment but can’t because I am not automatically logged in when I open the app. Sorry to compare but Daily Mail does it better

Please stop taking me back to top of page whenever an update occurs. Also. Hard to see link to comments in many stories.
No free speech
The NY post censors everything and restricts your account as punishment for speaking out against the tRump administration. I’ve seen the post delete many of my posts without any notice from them. This rag of a newspaper is strictly a propaganda machine for the insane MAGA movement. They are in violation of our first amendment rights to free speech and expression.

Sports Columnists
Sports Plus is a money grabbing option that keeps readers from enjoying their favorite writers. Also, the headlines on columns can be misleading, too “tabloid”-like.

People threaten you and your life on this app and you cant put a name other than your real name
Horrible
Absolutely horrible experience trying to use this app or even read the New York post online. It is constantly reloading ads popping up videos popping up when you try to turn them off it takes you to the advertisers website. This is horrible and I will not try to read the New York post again. I will get my news somewhere else I’m 63 years old and been reading in New York Post my entire life. This is totally ridiculous.

Love the content, app is a disaster
App never works properly . Must sign in everytime to post , cannot click like button. Only solution is to delete and reinstall. Done several times but can’t do everyday !

Technical glitches
I’ve been a reader since the early 1980s. Please fix the glitch that keeps logging me out of my account involuntarily. It started around a year ago. Before that, your app was way better. Your tech staff made it worse. They’re hired to make things better, no?
Not Good
- Takes too long to refresh/reload pages
- no search bar to look up key word searches for specific articles
- Screen freezes up constantly and makes it difficult to navigate between pages
- Too many embedded ads in news video clips. Having to watch an ad before being able to view a video clip w/out a “skip ads” option is annoying and I usually close app and move to Youtube where i can skip ads when desired

New app sucks
Deleting the app. It won’t let me access without tracking and becoming four times the size on my homescreen moving three other apps off my Home Screen. Done with it I guess.
Freezes
Will freeze repeatedly and then you will have to close app and re-open it. The app freezes such that on a iPhone you can not even reload the page or navigate away from it and close app from Home Screen. The news is reporting is not as good as the Onion nor as entertaining. And do these people ever find anything good in America? Very negative viewpoints.
