Lacks any functionality you would expect. No ability to sign up for races, manage fundraisers, or even track you own stats. Makes being a member feel like a ripoff
I love NYRR as an organization, and really enjoy running their races which are well organized, but can they please hire someone qualified to totally revamp/do a total overhaul on this app. It’s absolutely awful!
Love the app. It’s got a good interface, the ability to track friends and see their progress while also allowing me to see the pictures after the event. 5 stars!
when i add friends to spectate. they dont show up… something went wrong. try again later!!! its so useless its embarrassing
App constantly prompts to be reinstalled every few races. Would be nice if splits were presented as splits rather than cumulative with all prior splits. Notifications when folks finish are nice
Most awful frustrating app I’ve ever experienced. Get ready, y’all. It doesn’t matter if you get the plus membership. There are so many issues with the app that you’ll miss the window of opportunity to register for races. The service in person only took three tries to fix my problems (at least I hope they’re fixed—I have to wait for the next registration window. I’m guessing, since it hasn’t worked all year, something else will go wrong.) Emails did nothing. I’ve been a member for decades. NYRR used to be community centered with a mission of access. No longer.

This app has all the features I want when it comes to being a spectator for the NY marathon! I can live track all of my friends, look at their splits, and even look at photos of them running when I can’t attend in person.
What kind of runner tracker breaks on the day of the race????????? Wha are we paying for?????
Trying to watch my daughter run the NYC Half and as soon as she got on the course, the map stopped working.
This is the worst app ive come across. It’s so useless. Its single aim is to stay logged in for users that do not want to log on to the website each time. And you don’t do that. I would’ve been okay if you at least saved my log in information so I can log in really fast, but no. I need to type in my entire email ID each time. It doesn’t even autocomplete. Trash app.

NYRR sucks
This app helped me track my friends during their first marathon. If not for this app I wouldn’t have been able to track any of my loved ones
What is it for??? Are u really believe it works????
May as well use the website, whose user flow is also mind boggling to me.
A lot of thought went into this application. Easy to understand, user-friendly. Just a shame that this app crashes frequently.
Im confused of how many people had issues with the app, it worked just fine for me during the marathon and it’s working okay after it too. I used it for Brooklyn half this year and that was a pleasant experience.
Terrible app just doesn’t work during the race
This app would not work at all! It crashed all weekend! There were people all along 4th Ave in Brooklyn just looking at blank screens trying to refresh for about an hour! What did you all do to this?!
Wanted to track a friend in the NY Marathon and the app gave me random people in my list. The app has basically one job and can’t even do it well — needs to be rebuilt from the ground up.
This app is terrible, buggy, lagging, adding runners that I don’t care about and don’t want to follow and not keeping the ones I do want to follow. If this is an example of Tatas work I’m unimpressed.
