I like the print edition along with the top stories. Top stories get me up to date quickly. But I still enjoy seeing the printed
The Advocate enewspaper is great, except when you can’t read the bottom line or when the side is chopped out of the article. I enjoy reading the national and international news in the Advocate. But it is supposed to be a local community paper. I can read about Gaza but there is no coverage of people killed in car accidents in my community or if there are break-ins and robberies in my community. I running joke is, “Oh, you can read about it in the Advocate, har, har, har.” There is plenty of news about Cleveland and Cincinnati, but evidently there are no local Advocate reporters. I buy the Advocate because there is no alternate news. Plus, there is local news in the Granville paper and Pataskala paper included once per week, other than that, a waste of money. Finally, the local sports have improved and now includes all the areas of the County.

Your content and new look is very appealing. Very easy to navigate and GREAT local reporting! In Gratitude!
Great HS Football coverage, articles really well written , pictures are amazing
Trying to read even one story on this app is an excruciating experience in frustration with the rolling ads that constantly disrupt the story. It is infuriating. I am canceling my subscription because this is impossible to read.
Compared to the previous version, this app is horrible. The tabs to advance the pages are in the way of the text, enlarged pages / text jump from enlarged to small just by bumping the screen, and it is virtually impossible to read the comic section. Also, sometimes, the text is blurry and can’t be refocused. Overall, very disappointing.

Not user friendly at all. No way to find Account Settings.
Extremely hard to unsubscribe I thought I unsubscribed but can’t stop the payments
Great local & state news delivery!
and that’s saying something at $6/month
I’m happy to support our local paper. This app makes it really easy to read and share articles, and stay up-to-date on local news.
5stars
The Newark Advocate is the first place I check for news that impacts my family, friends and community. Accurate, timely and top notch.
No way to comment; no link to how to write the editor, only letters already received.
Let’s talk about the storms
I can’t believe that you guys only have about 2-3 new news items per day, if that. Not to mention the lack of updates per weekend.
Gives me hometown news in a timely manner. Thanks Advocate, well done!
I want to cancel and told the reporter still can’t cancel.
User friendly, full of details and lots of setting notifications!
