Incomplete.

Does not include all coastal states. Useless for citizens is east coast states north of North Carolina. I guess we never have to worry about hurricanes up here in Massachusetts. Hurricane Sandy was fake news is supposed. Useless!!!!

Not bad what it does

This app is for those coastal states and territories that may be affected with severe weather. It does not seem too focused on tornadoes or natural disasters like earthquakes.

However, since I live in a coastal state, I downloaded it to see what it was about. From this app I can get all kinds of National Weather Service information, NOAA (including climate and environmental information), and more. There is a tab to find information for the covered states. Here is information, including links and phone numbers, about the state and local agencies plus power companies and other contact information for use before, during and after a severe weather event. This is based on their "paper" information sheets that are really useful sources of information.

It is not perfect- there is no "help" tab and some of the links, even for a NOAA site are not correct.

There does not seem to be much that is resident in the app, so not sure how good it will perform in the middle of a real emergency without Internet access (there is a link to the actual PDFs info sheets so you can keep a hard copy handy) but a good start for a free app from Uncle Sam.

Not a national app

This app doesn't include information for inland states, the pacific coast, Alaska, Hawaii, or any of the Atlantic coast states north of North Carolina.
