I use special software to read the screen because of my poor vision. The News-Journal works very well with this software.

This app always seems to fail to properly log in paid subscribers. Why am I paying for a service that doesn’t maintain the basic programming and upkeep of software to run the platform. They have no issue taking your money but fail to have an easy way to cancel your subscription.

After 77 years of holding the hard copy paper, I’ve caved!
Though nothing can replace the wonderful, reliable paper Daytona Beach News Journal of the majority of my life,I have finally converted due to its convenience.Most of the “news” is not really, I do like what local life is reported. As long as Mark Lane’s column appears,I shall continue to read!
Slow to load
The e- Newspaper is slow loading up. Sometimes the pages icon at the bottom of the screen on my iPad won’t respond to my touch to quickly go to another section. All the bottom icons are unresponsive when that happens.
Glad to get “some” local news, but even the Local section only has one page of truly local stories.
All in all I’m glad to get this paper, and respect the local journalists who cover Volusia county.

NJ app
I subscribe to get the E edition of the newspaper . I’ve been getting it for years. I had access to USA Today as well. Where is It? I don’t want breaking news etc. If I can’t get the paper back I will have to cancel. Why are you wrecking things that work ?

I’ve been a subscriber since 1970. I miss some of the local news, but I’m grateful still to have a local paper.
Good paper wonderful funny pages
I began reading the DNJ 49 years ago when I would visit my parents who had retired to NSB from Ontario.
I’m still reading it.
I encourage editors to maintain healthy local news and high school sports.
I also enjoy the comics Read in order, comics, then sports, next local and finally national news. I think it helps to lower my blood pressure

Terrible App
I usually have no problem reading the paper but today’s was terrible. This needs to be fixed ASAP. The only reason I am giving you one star is because it won’t send without it. Pls correct or advise how to access before tomorrow.

Perfect
The News Journal app is the easiest and most convenient way to get up to date news any time. I don’t have to wait for the paper to be delivered. On line also provides the ability to see other papers in the Gannett family. I can read a paper from my old hometown and the USA Today.

Won’t download
I’ve tried for two weeks to download my E newspaper and it just keeps saying “loading”. No phone number for help available.
New Daytona news journal app
I left an earlier review and I was wrong. The new App preserves the actual News Journal under ‘enewspaper’. Still a great paper that is actual Journalism.
E newspaper won’t open
For the past 2 days the e-newspaper won’t open on my late model, software updated iPad. I deleted the NJ app, and will try again with the newly downloaded app. Please fix this bug. 3-15-2025
