Finally working better and not locking up.
After 6 or more months of the app locking up and having to restart the app or reboot the ipad sometimes multiple times, the app seems to be working properly now.
No paper this am at my door
I can read the paper on line but I can’t do my daily puzzles.
The News Journal app is great!
The app is a great substitute for the paper edition that I loved for many years. We had been longtime paper subscribers, until the deliveries became inconsistent. Although I miss holding the actual paper product, this is a good substitute. And, it’s less expensive than the paper edition.
Slow to update
Every time Apple releases a new or incremental IOS upgrade, it takes the developers a long time before any updates are completed. This results in app crashes, pages missing, and general annoyances. Gannet wants people to move over to the electronic version of their newspaper, which I have done, but have never had a paper copy crash!
Note: app has not been updated in last 7 months, even though Apple has released numerous increments to IOS 13, and has now released IOS 14.
