Privacy nightmare
This app copies data from your clipboard every time you open the app. Developer refuses to stop harvesting personal data.

In the last few days, 10/6/21, app won’t work. It only opens a few local papers..seems it won’t work with Safari anymore
This app no longer works
Since 9 June 2021, any news story you open flashes up briefly on screen and is then replaced by message ‘a problem repeatedly occurred with page...[page link]’.
Flash is the right word!
As a news app this one is a disaster! Only virulent ‘left wing’ papers run with next to no reloads, all the rest just reload and reload ad nauseam - always have and, it seems, always will!

Spyware?
The App keeps pasting the contents of your clipboard without you giving them permission to do so. This means if you copied something to your clipboard to use in another application, and then opened NewsFlash, a warning will come on screen telling you it pasted those contents to NewsFlash. This seems dangerous.

What’s with the “paste”?
I used to really love the convenience of this app, however with the updates in ios14, I’m curious as to why I get a notification every time I open the app that it’s automatically pasted whatever was last on my clipboard.

The best IMO
Seriously have tried ALOT of feed readers and this one is great! Besides being able to add your own feeds and hide other feeds, makes this THE most usable reader out there. It’s simple. No bloat no crap. People have complained that some news sources don’t work. True they don’t because the news site changed feed policies or the link was changed. It happens. I went in and added SO MANY of my own links and everything works. So don’t be lazy...learn!
Update: still the best. I really hope the developer keeps the app updated for future iOS versions. This is a amazing news feed app. Hands down 10 ⭐️!!!

Old news from CBS is dumped into feed
All of a sudden there is a plethora of CBS news dumped into the feed and it’s from months ago. You need to fix this glitch. You aren’t a great newsfeed, but you’re succinct and usually have varied news sources listed. Get it together, guys.

This app definitely NEEDS a widget fast because it’s a great app but it needs a widget put that on this app soon it’s talking so long to get it put on
Extremely frustrating.
I only need a few local news feeds, it is frustrating in the extreme to have to hide each one individually. It took 30 minutes to turn off all the U.S. feeds and there is no obvious way to do it simply, by having a switch for each country. Now uninstalled, but I will keep an eye open for new versions.

I once, keenly used this app but it has sold out to subscription news providers. If you don’t pay a subscription you don’t get the news.

UNSTABLE
You need to fix this FAST. Since OS update 13.1.2 this app has become almost unusable..... flickers..... jumps ..... more than a week later STILL unstable !!
Very Straight Forward
Ah yes a very straight forward news app that in it simplicity lulls the reader into thinking this is all very unbiased. Nothing could be further from the truth, most stories come direct from the NYT, New York Times.
