Worst app ever
I have tried the Newsweek app on the iOS platform as well as on the Pocketmags app but the problems are the same. I was coned into taking out a 12 month subscription but my reading experience is frustrating.
No convenience
It’s getting worse. It never can get on time. After announcements of new issues it need to wait several days for downloading.
Terrible app
This app is unusable. I paid subscription from Apple store. However I cannot get the subscribed version.

The app freezes frequently. Requires horizontal reading feature.
Old app was better
Although the content layout has improved it looks nowhere near as nice. The old app looked beautiful and was graphically very slick. The articles now look they have been copy and pasted into a simple word processor app with pictures just dropped in. Disappointing step backwards in that respect.
Also when you get to the bottom of the article it now brings up a massive link that says 'next article' which gets in the way of reading the last part of the article.

The new mag has been great so good to have an app

A nice and straight forward app. I find it simple and easy to catch up on the latest Newsweek issue on my iPad.
