Worthless
Unlike the website, this app just shows you what’s on the website and nothing happens when you click on the stories. I am installed it. It’s completely worthless. What a waste of my time.

I touch a story to read, but nothing happens. This used to be my go-to for news. Please fix it!
IOS Update
No longer working with 18.1.1
Useless since iOS update
Used to be a good app, now for the last 2 updates of iOS unable to click through on any news item
What happened?
No longer works. Stories are like dead links….nothing happens when you click on them. Maybe it’s the IOS 18?
Now stories won’t open.
Worked before ios 18.0.1. Now stories won’t open.
Broken App
For the past several weeks the app updates and loads as usual but clicking on ANY story doesn’t do anything. They no longer open to be read. All tabs, all stories. I have uninstalled the app and redownloaded, etc. Nothing. I loved this app but now it’s just junk.

Can no longer click to read the articles
It was quite good until I upgraded to IOS 18. Now I can’t click on any articles to read them. It’s also annoying when it keeps scrolling back to the top when I’m trying to scan through the headlines
Good but could be a lot better
I like this app as it gives good access to news from a wide range of sources what let's it down it's it technical behaviour. The most annoying is the constant resetting to the top news story which I think happens when you get a new story. As I am halfway down I have to re scroll down to where I was. This is very annoying when it happens again and again and leaves me sometimes turning the app off in frustration. The other annoying thing which has started to happen is pressing a button and the app going black which has happened often in the last few days. Once it goes black you cannot get the news back and have to delete the app and reinstall. If the tech probs could be sorted this would be a great app as it is now it is ok

Annoying
Don’t try to listen to Spotify through your phone while using this app - for some reason, this app keeps killing Spotify. Very annoying. Sorry guys, I will be avoiding in future unless you make improvements.
Needs tweaks
I do like this app and use it at times, this is potentially a very good app, but is let down by a few things that would improve it quite a bit, if they were in it I would probably move from my regular news app to this one permanently
The ability to block and or hide sources of your choosing.
Automatically hiding sites that are pbehind a paywall if you are never likely to use them
The option to hide articles based on keywords and subjects allowing you to still use it l, for example if you are trying to avoid sports results or want to avoid news on a certain event.

This keep freezing and also so many adds
Great idea
This app is a great idea. I like to see the headlines from different news sources. It gives me a good perspective of the world. And it isn’t curated by what some algorithm thinks I want to see. I like that. And it used to work better on my iPhone. Now it is very unstable. Partway through an article it crashes and I have to start over again. And then it crashes again. And I have to start over again. Get it? It’s pretty annoying. But still a great idea.

Hmmmmm
Just downloaded and after brief usage it appears to function well. Even though it claims to be neutral I personally believe it leans liberal. As an example if you look at the Live Homepages the preponderance of the links are liberal and if you consider placement 4 out of the first 5 are liberal. Also since it is a free download I have to wonder where their revenue comes from.

Crash App
Can never read anything on their website or app as it crashes constantly and restarts iPad every time. I suspect it puts virus’s on your devices so delete and stay away.

The live homepages feature is a great way to quickly scan many news sources, even ones you wouldn't normally visit. It's like being at an actual newsstand.
It also aggregates links to news sources across the political spectrum, however the app itself is quietly owned by a subsidiary of conservative tabloid the Daily Mail. Make of that what you will.

Utter garbage. The user has to suffer cookie approval screens before reading articles, intrusive part screen blocking ads. or maybe being required to complete a survey before continuing to read an article. One to be avoided.
Worst headline bating yet
Newzit sends tantalizing news alerts yet when you click on the link it never goes to that story, and most of the time that story doesn’t even exist! Do yourself a favor and don’t download the app so you don’t have to delete it later.
