Does not work

I joined a gym that uses this for access. I received the invitation to set up the key. I followed the steps and got confirmation that it was successful. Upon opening the app, they “key” is not there. I keep getting a message saying I have no Keys set up.

Unusable

Response from developer

You are using a Developer Preview / Beta version of iOS 15.4 which is there for other Developers to verify if their applications run well and if not to make changes. This is exactly what we did. If you install the latest version of Nexkey you will recognize that it runs perfectly.

This service is exceptional

Nexkey has been so awesome for our office. The support is amazing and very patient! We recommend 100%

Completely Faulty

At first our office was super excited to have this system, but from the beginning this system has been completely problematic. The first problem we had was it would lock people inside the office. I work alone in the office for the most part, and we have a commercial type door. The system started making light clicking sounds around the evening when I’m clocking out and when I was about to leave, the door locked completely. I tried using my app to open, I refreshed the app, I logged off and logged back in, turned my blue tooth on and off, logged of WiFi used my cellular internet. Nothing opened the door. I was stuck inside and had to have my co worker come open the door for me. The company techs came and said the system worked fine, and couldn’t find the issue. It continued to happen every other week. The second problem was it locks you out of the office as well. Again like clockwork, in the evening it makes a clicking sound and the system after two uses, locked me out, if I had left something by accident in the office I could no longer retrieve it, because after trying the same refresh, logout, and reload process on the app nothing opened the door. This system is costly, faulty and seems to have a mind of its own because it only works when it feels like it. It’s a disservice and useless for efficiency in the office. Tread carefully when you invest in this system.

Beyond trash

- doesn't work without internet (ex if I'm on a phone call)
- doesn't work if not connected to the wifi
- often doesn't work at all
- it's now actually harder to use this than to use a key or key card

I've been using for over 6 months and fair to say this service is trash
