I love this app, it’s the only one on the iOS app store that actually blocks ads in various apps without the need of Safari, Chrome, or any other specific browser program. It just blocks the ads everywhere without issue, no matter what. I just wish it offered a flat, one-time-only lifetime payment fee instead of making you subscribe monthly or yearly. I would pay $100+ to this company without hesitation if it was just a one-time payment and nothing more. The monthly fee is “only” $2.99 but it’s still just frustrating because it seems like everything requires subscriptions nowadays instead of one-time payments. I remember a long time ago VPN apps and ad blockers used to be completely FREE to use and that was for the FULL, high-quality service provided, not a reduced quality of service to “penalize” you for not paying up. But all the free ones either disappeared or they started pushing you into a corner to sign up for an annoying subscription plans just to use the absolute bare minimum features, not even the high quality and long lasting features get a simple charge; it’s always tiered off. The more security and privacy you want, the higher and more frequently you have to pay. It’s bizarre tech people complain about privacy being stolen from them and the public by the government but the same tech people make it hard to regain out privacy and security online by charging consumers for things that they know they themselves used to provide for 100% free, no gimmicks. I love this app NextDNS and am so impressed with how it works against its’ competitors on the Apple app store, i just wish better options were available for people who dont want to keep making recurring payments for however long this service may continue to exist. I have this app on all of my Apple devices and would %100 recommend it to anyone and everyone. Its amazing , please just offer a one-time lifetime service payment instead of subscriptions. I’ll pay anything for that and that alone, no matter how many devices! Please! 🙏

Went to Control D
This app didn’t update for 5 years.. this was concerning me. But without doubt a great DNS and features, but switched to Control D because of the activity of the company, being active..

Really love the new features and the temporary disabling of NextDNS. And having the website logged in directly into the app. Great update.

Lags and doesnt even block ads
Almost perfect
I’ve used the config for a long time and have just switched back to the new(er) app. Can customize my profile still if need and quickly toggle it rather than fully disabling it in the settings. The one thing that would bring this over the top is being able to quickly toggle this outside the app using a shortcut or widget!

Great option for slightly better privacy
This, in conjunction with better settings on the phone can improve privacy. Set and forget, haven’t had any issues in over a year.

It would be a lot easier on our devices battery life for tracking servers for Amazon and others that try constant pings as a punishment for using a block list 😣
Specifically having a issue with twitch app
There has been an issue where if you click on the channel points, bits, emotes or even chat it will start the animation but then not open. You have to click on it a few times before it works properly. I can’t be the only one experiencing this.
I’ve looked at the logs and allowed something’s that are being blocked and still no success for it to work normal.
I’m using the Hagezi pro blocklist. I’d love if this could get fixed or a way to disabled NextDNS for the twitch app cause it’s only on twitch that a weird issue has showed up like this.
