I am sure it was or even is a good app. The problem is that it will not let me sign up.
I’m sure it’s great…but it sure doesn’t work!
I can’t even get past the I putting my phone number part because if you don’t live in california it doesn’t recognize your phone number. Would’ve been nice to know that. Don’t bother wasting your time!

downloaded and couldn’t even sign up?! i kept putting in my number & waiting for the text and just says “error” 🤷🏻♀️
Doesn’t work
I can’t even get past the page where you input your phone number. It should not be this complicated. I kept getting a 102 server error and then it went to 102 something about blocked restricted. Makes no sense if you are going to promote an app online but it’s only for a designated state then say that.

Not working/ App crashes
Heard a lot about this app. Decided to download and it requires to sign up or create an account they both require to input you phone number for a text verification. I had input my phone number many times and haven’t received any code. So I decided to skip that part. When I did it says “all the surprise bags are sold out in your area”. I noticed my location was in Los Angeles? I clicked next to the icon to update and change my location. I don’t live in Los Angeles. And it crashes. I have attempted many times to sign up, create an account and simply view the page and it crashes many times.
Will have to delete app as it’s not functioning and no help at all.

It has option to skip the sign up but it only shows one restaurant which is in LA but very far from my location. I tried to sign up but it does not let me enter my last name and keeps buzzing error. No option to move to the last name section and no option to scroll down the screen. Not a very user friendly app.

Can’t add my info
I deleted the app because I couldn’t get to the second line to add my last name and finish registration.

Nothing in NorCal and even the online options are all geared towards women.
Intrusive
Ask for phone number instead of e mail and if you skip, it will default to LA area and won’t be able to change. Thanks but no thanks
Data privacy
The app requires you to give them a phone number and any old phone number won't work. These people don't tell you their data privacy before installing the app on your phone. Also, there's no way to tell where (locations) the app works. It's not in their website description. From what i found it only works in Los Angeles and Pasadena. And it took a lot of time to find out. Before i downloaded the app and spent time trying to see if i could use it, it didn't say it doesn't work in San Diego - or that it was limited to Los Angeles and Pasadena. Wasted my time. Time is more valuable than their program. I'm not sure this app saves any food from being wasted. Restaurants can PLAN and it looks like this app lets them sell stuff to you at a price where they are willing to sell, so it's for profits and they decide how much they'll offer at the "discounted" price. Nothing is going to go in the garbage if you don't buy their little packages. They plan fine AT THESE PRICES. This app creates hype for deal hunters so that they think they're getting a deal and the store simply makes and sells more product at prices they were already willing to take.

I can’t find anything listed in several states. I think this app is only for LA. They need to specify that here on the app store page
App crashes
I was never able to deal with any feature of the nextplate just because the app crashes lol I unistalled and did everything but seems like it simply doesn’t work on iPhone 11 pro for some reason. All I could see was a glance of main screen
glitchy
app has too many glitches and bugs. I cant even pick a campus location it’s just a blank white screen every time
I can’t get signed in
I am trying to create an account. I put in my phone number and never got the verification code. I tried multiple times. Please fix this in the app.
Great food for less money!
Two things I love, good food and cheap. With this app I was able to get access to great food on my college budget! More places are signing up and I love it. Ps. Super easy and private to use.
Bad app
I could not pass the signup stage, asked for first name, but, no matter what I typed in, it just won’t go to next step! Thus, 1 star!
