What's New in NextQuest

1.9.0

August 6, 2026

- The Lists tab becomes **Discovery**: For-you keyword shelves, a backlog rail, platform and franchise spotlights, and a release calendar that rotate daily. - **NextQuest rating** — a 0–10 composite score — replaces the IGDB rating everywhere, with a verdict plaque on game detail and the active sort's value shown inline on cards. - **Luma** joins the arcade; Brick Blitz and Snake are ported from web and Space Barrage is reworked for fidelity, on a rebuilt arcade landing with cabinet tiles and a d-pad. - Game Detail rebuilt around a new hero, a merged media rail with inline video, Steam achievements, and real offline/error states. - Offline-first hardening: the library falls back to SQLite when the server is unreachable, and a post-sync warm pass caches detail payloads before you need them. - The Library tab is renamed **Games**; membership actions now read "Collection". - Settings and Stats redesigned to the design system, with a new "This year's highs & lows" section. - Playthrough dates collapse into a single end date and auto-promote status when you enter one. - **Reduced Effects Mode** for low-powered devices, driven by a settings toggle or the OS reduce-motion preference.

Game Review and Tracker 🧑‍🍳💋

This app is like Goodreads for gamers. The interface is easy to use. The library of games is huge and I was able to find all my games - classic and new. I would recommend this app if you want to track your game play and feedback throughout gaming.

Finally!

Has anybody else made spreadsheets or extensive notes on their phones trying to keep track of games, trophies, etc? I have wanted FOR YEARS for there to be a system where I can log what I want to play, keep track of what I am playing, and share what I have played with friends. The ranking system is awesome and the app itself is super intuitive. I needed this. Have a hug.

Great App

This is a great companion to track games I’ve completed, my overall thoughts on them, and record what I’m planning to play next!

Thanks NextQuest!

What a cool app! Now I have a fun way to manage and keep track of games I’ve played and those I want to play next. It’s well thought out, looks great and can do so much - each time I open it I find more to explore. It’s what I needed but didn’t know it, until I found it!

Great for retro games

This is an awesome app for finding games I’ve played in the past and then finding similar modern games. The app is great looking and easy to use. Helps with organizing.
