Is this ever going to be fixed?
Once upon a time this app worked well. Not anymore. It would have been nice if the thing worked during Safe Track but I guess that was too much to ask for. The paid version should at least work but no one seems to care that even basic functions don't work. I hope no one pays for this app until it works again.

Doesn't even show my metro stop "oops we have a problem." This after I paid for this piece of junk.

App very out of date.
All of the links to scheduled train departures are invalid. Please fix!

Bought on the recommendation of a friend but none of the links I'm interested in seem to work. Currently a "don't buy" for me.
App doesn't work anymore
The app is broken and no longer shows when the next train will arrive. The map is there but you can get free maps on other apps. Useless!

The app no longer connects to metro times. It goes to a broken WMATA website. Needs to be fixed.
Loved it BEFORE Metro changed interface
This was always my go to app to ride the DC Metro, because there were no bells and whistles. It was simple and had an Apple Watch component that worked beautifully.
Since Metro changed their website, it no longer interfaces with the data feeds necessary to tell us when the train is arriving.

It's broke please fix
This has been a decent app, but the server they draw the data from has been changed, making the app useless. Please fix and I'll change to a positive review

*** Update - changing my review until it's update. Used to be a great app but now the interface is broken and there doesn't appear to be much effort to fix it. I'll change the star rating again if someone fixes the app.
There appears to be a problem with the app interface and the website from which it pulls information (which appears to have been updated very recently). When I select a station in the app, I get a screen that links me to a WMATA page that tells me "Whoops this is awkward. You're looking for something that doesn't seem to exist. Try going to our [WMATA] search page."
When it's working the app is great. It's tied directly the ACTUAL train arrival information - the marquees on the platform if you will - rather than the website which tells you when trains are SUPPOSED to arrive. And if you know metro the scheduled arrival times are almost never correct.

This app has been great but is not longer being updated by the developer. It no longer interfaces with Metro correctly. Do not purchase

I've been using this one for a few weeks now on an iPhone 5s. The times are really accurate, usually spot on to the normal DC Metro website AND the times listed on the Station boards. Once in a while, this app is a minute off. Literally one minute off, and that is only about 10% of the time. I have been comparing times for the last two weeks, and this app is really accurate. If you are the kind of person that cannot live knowing this app may be ONE minute off, then you need to re-evaluate your usage of the DC Metro system. Here is a solution for you - get to the Metro two minutes early.

BUYER BEWARE: Shady Developer!!!
I paid for this app and it has worked fine for 3 years, but I see now that it is time to move on... Latest update only said "fixes" but what it really did was add advertisements to an app I already PAID for, only to then try and charge me *another* 99Β’ to remove them. And they didn't even add iPhone 5 support! No thanks.
I will restore the older version from my iTunes backup until I find a good replacement app (looking into iTrans DC Metro).
Shameful. Stay away from ANY developer who thinks it is okay to trick its customers with a bait & switch... What a disgrace!

Metro App Derailment
This app fails to do two mandatory needs for a paid app. I can get a Metro map anywhere. This should show you where you are on the Metro so you can figure out where you're trying to go. Also, an app should never make you leave because it doesn't deliver something it leads you to believe it will provide - directions.
Fix these simple things and it's worth the cost and a good rating. For now, rating is appropriate.

Nice for off peak hours
Great for planning late at night or on weekends, especially if you have different connection options. Won't pull train times if they're not available though so don't expect the app to help you everytime if the monitors are blank.
Good; needs a few quick fixes
9 out of 10 times this application will be used by commuters who just need a quick look at their standard metro station. Therefore, kindly make it so that touching the icon brings me right to the "page" I looked at last time. I would like it to be a one-touch operation. Now it takes me four touches, including a message how dumb I was not to allow the program to use my current location. Seems to be no way to neither change my choice nor get rid of the message. 5 stars after these fixes.

Great App!!!
Overall, very necessary app if you are a DC metro rider of any type. Since I ride the metro to and from work, I'm on it at least five times a week. It helps keep me efficient by not waiting long times for the next train (even though that is quite unavoidable at times, i.e. track maintenance, last train). Since I know when the next train comes, I know to hustle or just take it slow in my walk to the metro, VERY important.
Don't you hate it when you miss the train by like 10 seconds or less? Lol! I hate that too! And then you have to wait for the next train which on the weekends could take 15 to 20 minutes! Or what about when u get to the staition too early and have to wait 15 to 20 minutes for the next train. Aggh!
Gave it a four because it could still use some improvement. A route planner for newbs, a longer list of arrivals and departs would be a welcome addition. Still the best DC Metro app there.

Excellent, but fix Judiciary Square!
This is a near-perfect metro app, except for some reason Judiciary Square doesn't exist in there. It's listed and all, but there are no times, no distance in Augmented Reality, and doesn't even show up in "nearest" lists (well, it's at the bottom). I also agree that a "favorites" tab would be helpful.
