About

NFC at Home turns the NFC tags around your house into one-tap triggers for the things you do every day. NFC SHORTCUTS Link your favorite iOS Shortcuts to physical NFC tags. Write a Shortcut link to a blank tag and tapping it will run that Shortcut — the app doesn't even need to be open. Optionally pass text input to the Shortcut for extra flexibility. READ ANY TAG Curious what's on a tag? The built-in tag reader shows a tag's type, unique ID, storage capacity, and the records written to it. CONNECT TO A SHARED HOME NFC at Home is also the companion app for homes managed with Do NFC. Scan an access code from the home's administrator and the tags at that location come to life: • Tap a tag to run the playbook linked to it — lights, music, appliances, and more • Guests get simple, safe access that expires automatically PRIVACY FIRST No account. No tracking. Your shortcuts and settings stay on your device. Access to a shared home is granted by scanning a code in person — and you can end it at any time. REQUIREMENTS • An iPhone with NFC (iPhone 7 or later) • Writable NFC tags (NDEF-compatible, widely available) • Some features require an invitation from a Do NFC administrator

What's New in NFC at Home

1.0.1

July 12, 2026

This release simplifies things for the user. When a user Scans access for a house or location the Library tab is not shown. This simplifies the user interface. When the User removes themselves from the house access (or when the house access expires) then the Library tab appears again.
