App no longer works. Get an Unable to Restore popup that keeps opening and renders it useless. Tried to delete and reinstall and it didn’t fix it. Deleting for good.
Buggy Replays
I appreciate that this app makes game footage available after the fact. I have a whole review that I could write on the NFL’s broadcast restrictions but thats for another day.
This review will hopefully be read by the developers and prioritized as these bugs create a frustrating viewing experience.
On the Apple TV the native video player is not used, therefore fast forward and rewind functions don’t work. You can pause/play and skip back or forward 30 seconds but thats it. Want to get to the third quarter? You’re either watching the full thing or clicking +30 about 10,000 times. Now if your screensaver comes up? Game starts over and you need the user needs begin the process all over again… accidentally click the back button?? Whammy! you’re back at the start... Switch between apps? Back to Go and do not collect $200…
for an organization as profitable as the NFL I expect their premium/user purchased content and technology to function seamlessly.

Just really subpar…
How in the heck in this app have a 4.5 review with all of the negative and I mean absolutely negative reviews. There are tons of them. Your ratings are very miss Leading. As much as people have complained about this app, there is a genuine opportunity for a TV provider to provide the experience of watching NFL on the TV as a streaming service which should work much better than this app. As reported by so many people, this app does not consistently perform well. It is constantly hanging up so you have to restart it to keep it from pausing for several seconds and then it has to catch up. Or, it hangs up completely and just STOPS. I don’t want to pay for the full cost of a TV provider cuz I don’t watch TV that much. But I do want to watch the games. I will be looking for an alternative next year but I’m not willing to pay for a subscription I will not use. Quit being greedy and someone come up with a viable solution. This year, 2026. I cannot even get the NFL+ icon to show up after the purchase of the app. Furthermore, I am not able to get support on this so I’m about to cancel the subscription

Disappointed
Refresh rate is terrible, I always have to cancel and close down the whole app just to watch the game for 15 minutes before it does not work again. I have a hard time believing a billon dollar organization can let this slide.

I pay for NFL+ (HUGE mistake). My sign in never works. I pay every month and the ap simply ignores it. I got it to work a couple of times USING THE SAME CREDENTIALS. This app is a BIG fail for me.

How does a billion dollar company have such a trash app in Apple TV and iPhone. The playback is clunky and every time you pause and it goes to screen saver you have to start over for which there’s NO resume and you can only fast forward at 30 seconds at a click. The most infuriating thing is every time I open the app I have to reenter my password for TV provider and most times it doesn’t accept it when I know I’m typing it in right. Also why don’t they have the standings in the app. Just lazy and honestly pathetic attempt from a company that has no respect for its fans!!!!!

Downloaded to watch the game and APP was down and wouldn’t load only after I paid and they don’t have customer service only AI chat

I bought this because it said watch live games on the description. Sure I thought maybe I can’t watch all of the live games but some … no you need another subscription that plugs into this. What’s the point of spending $100? Waste of money for sure

Seems there’s been a recent change with how written articles are embedded. These now force a video on every article, and video advertisements too. Worse, the font is now quite small, difficult to read and doesn’t adjust size for accessibility. One of my favorites apps is now one of my most frustrating. Way to go, NFL. Not.

Stuck on loading or black screen
I have deleted and reinstalled the app three times now and cannot view any of the feeds available to me with my yearly subscription.
Quite frustrating to have paid $80 and not be able to see any of the streams. On top of that you can’t get a live agent.

STOP SHOWING THE SCORES ON REPLAYS. What’s the damn point in watching them if you give it away. The tard that made that needs fired. It’s so hard to try to watch replays and not see scores. Makes it not even worth subscribing.
Really awful layout and rendering
News and other content font size is so small and layout is so terrible that it is completely unreadable.

Worst streaming app ever
I have no clue how this app has 4+ stars. It’s easily the worst streaming app I’ve ever used.
Anyone giving 5 stars is fake
The idea of this app is 5 stars. The reality is 1 - 2 stars. Literally, EVERY SINGLE commercial, even when i am not watching a live game, freezes the stream. Then I have to skip 30 seconds to get it back on track and deal with blurry video for 10-20 seconds. I despise having to pay $79 / year for this app to just have a complete piece of garbage app because i cannot watch my team live each week.

The app is trash. It keeps saying sign in to watch. I am signed in and I am paying for the proper subscription.
The customer service bot can’t even help you. You finally get a person just for them to send a generic response and sign out before you can even talk to them. Then the process starts all over again. The bot says it can’t understand. It’s all trash at this point. So customer service seems to be trash too. Fix it please

It’s the most frustrating thing you’ll ever do
Good luck getting it to work. It’s a hassle to sign in, it’s a hassle to link an account and it’s a hassle to view the product you paid for. The NFL is just stealing money from us for a terrible product. Try and do whatever you can to avoid having to use this app or service.

Great app. Wish there was an equivalent for the Premier League. One suggestion, allow a 5 sec replay button for some videos
