What's New in NFP Tracker
0.5.1
October 2, 2026
This is a big update, with a new chart, instructor sharing, ovulation test tracking and more accurate fertility calculations. NEW CYCLE CHART • The Insights temperature chart is now a full Cycle Chart. Your temperatures appear alongside lanes for mucus, bleeding, monitor readings, ovulation tests, intercourse and symptoms, with the fertile window, Peak Day, cover line and temperature shift marked. • Look back at any past cycle, not just the current one. • Compare Cycles overlays your recent cycles, lined up by cycle day 1, Peak Day or temperature shift. • Tap any day to see its details, or open either chart full screen. SHARE YOUR CHART WITH YOUR INSTRUCTOR • Invite your NFP instructor from Settings → Instructor Sharing. They get read-only access to your Calendar, Insights and History, and you can remove their access at any time. OVULATION TESTS (OPK) • Log positive or negative LH test results. Turn it on in Settings under the fields you track. • Positive results show on your Calendar and Cycle Chart and appear in exports. Ovulation tests are shown for reference only and never change your Peak Day or fertile window. MORE ACCURATE FERTILITY CALCULATIONS • Creighton and Billings: Peak Day is now the last day of peak-type mucus, as the methods teach, so post-Peak days now begin a few days later than before. • Sympto-Thermal: a temperature shift now needs three readings on consecutive days, and both the mucus and temperature signs are required before the fertile window closes. • If bleeding suggests a new cycle you haven't marked, the app shows a reminder to mark the cycle start instead of showing those days as infertile. • Marquette (monitor only) results are unchanged. If your Peak Day or post-Peak days look different from before, this is why. CYCLES • Days logged before your first marked cycle start now appear as a partial cycle and no longer count as cycle day 1. EXPORT AND IMPORT • CSV export now includes every field, including temperature, cycle day and cycle start, and opens cleanly in Excel. • New: import a CSV exported from NFP Tracker (Settings → Import Data). • PDF summaries: cycle lengths and dates are fixed, and future cycles are marked. FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS • Temperatures keep two decimal places (96.67 stays 96.67). • Edit your first and last name in Settings → Your Profile. • Insights charts no longer run off the edge of phone screens. • Getting Started now has a "Review the latest release" step showing what's new. IOS • Updated for iOS 27. NFP Tracker now requires iOS 15 or later. • Behind-the-scenes improvements to opening invite links and app links.
