Motivational apps

I love this apps because whenever I about to give up and use this app to check my progress and it shows your progress for the day then I start to to one step at a time formula to help me to getting better

NHS walking plan

It would be more useful if the walking plan was within the active 10 app as I have to sign in to see the walking plan every time and it’s unclear how it works, and doesn’t seem to refer at all to the active 10 app to set targets.

Gt help

At a glance record of your fitness progress.

Good idea but poorly executed!

Sadly, I will be deleting this app. A few days ago I was checking progress and found the app deleted all my data and was starting from scratch. Useless - how many more times would this happen? Very disheartening, because archived results couldn’t be retrieved.

Walking indoors

I’m walking indoors, I realise how mad that sounds but it’s 85F with 75% humidity outside!

Great motivation

Good, free app - I’ve set myself targets and it tracks during the day

Liking it !!!!!!

Just downloaded this app & it does take some getting used to compared to my steps app, but what I love is it’s linked to the NHS so it’s all together…… I think it’s a must have ..

Target

Keeping me on target 🎯,,, and keeping doing the pounds

Keeps me up to speed

This is a good tool for logging how much of my walk is fast and how long I’ve been active each time. It definitely makes me walk more regularly and to include more fast walking.

Neat way of encouraging me to walk more briskly.

Shame new t’s & C’s

Worth reading. I’m deleting app now.

Why do you have to spoil a good thing 🤷

I AM SO ANGRY !! 😡

Stolen

This is a great app, helping me with my surgery rehab. All was going well till it lost 60 mins of my brisk walking yesterday. That’s a huge chunk and I want to know why and if it can be recovered. Luckily I’m using a cardiac monitor so I know I did over 1 hour on a treadmill with the lost brisk timings but still.

The Walking “Soothsayer”

A terrific pace tracker with a positivity of tone which informs, and encourages me to maintain momentum as part of my daily exercise.

Getting Walking!

This is a great app and I do love it and has really helped me to aim for my ‘brisk’ walking daily target. The only thing that prevented 5 stars is that I wish it was linked to a iWatch or smartwatch to help me see at ease how many brisk minutes I had completed. I also forgot my phone one day and despite my watch recording my walk, it didn’t and couldn’t update my on my phone.

Try …. Keep trying

It’s hot ! Blooming hot but I haven’t walked for weeks because of the heat. Oh ! How I have missed my walking. It will be more enjoyable when it’s cooler

Lovely app

User friendly

Easy exercising

A quick and simple way to keep a record of your activity level

Motivates me to hit daily walking target

Easy to use, visually appealing app. Clearly shows daily, weekly and monthly progress against targets.

Best app for brisk walking !

Used it for years and been a massive help on. Risk walking tracking and also Nordic walking !

Great App & it’s free!!

Very easy to use and access. You can chart your progress runs/walks in as soon as you’ve finished.
I like the weekly/monthly bar charts that give you incentive to get out there if miss a couple of days

Very helpful for me

I keep on track every week. Thanks to this app I now walk an average of 30 minutes brisk walk a day and about an hours walk each day. Some days even more. I find myself wanting to take the phone just to make sure I keep on track. Very easy to use and don’t know how accurate it is but it seems to do the trick for me.
