What's New (version 1.0) The first release of Nianshi Note: markdown writing with automatic saving and iCloud sync, a focus mode that keeps your paragraph in view, a visual library with folders, Apple Watch dictation, and digitally signed authorship. --- 念紙 (nian-shi) — mindful paper. Nianshi Note is a writing app that stays out of the way. You open a note, you write, you close it. There is no Save button, no "unsaved changes" dialog, no extra steps to remember. Every word is kept the moment you type it and carried to your other devices through the iCloud. Write in markdown; read like the rendered page Headings take their size as you type them. Bold is bold, italic is italic, code is set apart. Marks stay visible, so the text you write is still the plain Markdown you can take anywhere. Flip to the rendered page whenever you want to read instead of write, or keep both side by side on Mac and iPad. Focus mode Turn it on and the paragraph you're writing stays at full size while everything around it gently recedes. The page makes room for the current thought in your hands. Scroll, tap, or keep typing: it follows you along your path. A library you can see Notes live on an alive grid of pages, sorted by what you touched last, with folders you create yourself. The same folders appear in iCloud Drive as a folder, so your writing is never locked away inside the app. Sync that never loses a word Edit the same note on your Mac and iPhone, even offline. When they meet again, both sets of changes are synchronized in unity. Nianshi Note keeps a quiet history of every note and reconciles edits itself; you will never be asked to pick a version. Simple. On Apple Watch: dictate a thought and watch the words arrive on the page. Everywhere: spelling, grammar, and Writing Tools built in, fully supported. Your name on your work Set your name once and every note carries a computationally provable signature that proves it's yours: a real signature, written alongside the note, verifiable with standard tools. Your signature key travels with you through iCloud Keychain.
