Absolutely Essential for Travel
When traveling I am always stitching together flaky Wifi networks and various VPNs for security. Without this app I would have no insight into what the issue is. With this I am able to quickly see what isn’t working and workaround/fix it.
That is my use case, but there are tons more obviously. This app is so clutch!

Beautiful and fast Traceroute Tool
Incredibly fast and smooth traceroute tool. Number one wish though: IPv6 support.
Great tool for networking
Thank you to the developer. I’ve been using the trace tool and related utilities since they came out a few years ago.
Very helpful for debugging, and I find that when I change hosts that running trace a few times helps get the new name-IP resolution out there sooner. I run a few traces, switch services or DNS servers and run again.

Wi-Fi, carrier, hotspot/MiFi & SIP VoIP user troubleshooting godsend!!
Update: I no longer use a MiFi or SIP regularly. But it’s still a VoIP user and general troubleshooting godsend!

Buggy sometimes... Old bug I think they have fixed : Gives nonsense stats like 15947% loss when data is out of bounds.

Works well, location information is suspect
Works well but consistently thinks many AT&T locations in the network are in European Union! Most of these misidentified locations in the AT&T network are in Florida.
Useful troubleshooting tool
It comes in handy for testing the availability of site. You can compare routes with cellular versus WiFi or iPhone versus desktop.

Does not work — keep on saying connection lost . How do I get a refund?
Great app, but why no landscape support on iPad?
