Nickmap

Nickmap is a shared map where every place can have a nickname — and anyone can change it. Tap a state, a region or a town. Stamp a nickname on it. Everyone sees it on the map right away, until someone comes up with a better one. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Rename places on ten maps: United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and Turkey • See every earlier nickname of a place and bring back the one you miss • Like the nicknames that deserve to stay • Follow recent changes as they happen • Share a nickname as an image, or share the whole map • Zoom into towns, lakes and seas on the Turkey map • Reset a place to its official name with one tap • Use it in light or dark mode, in English, Turkish, German or Spanish NO ACCOUNT There is no sign-up. You play anonymously, and you can delete your data from Settings at any time. GOOD TO KNOW Nickmap is for entertainment. It is not an official map and does not change any real place name. Nicknames are written by users: hate speech, harassment, threats, sexual content involving minors and illegal content are not allowed, and any nickname can be reported from the app.
