Search and Niffler's assistant are now one place — search as you type, or ask a question and get a real answer. NEW • Switch to Ask to turn any query into a conversation that can find things, answer questions and create items for you. • A Spaces widget. Pick the spaces you want on your Home Screen and tap straight into them — plus a Lock Screen shortcut for a single space. • Redesigned share sheet — a shared link previews as a real Niffler card, with its title, description and cover image fetched before you save. If you've saved the page already, Niffler tells you which space it's in. • Choose which tabs the add card opens with and their order, in Settings → Preferences → Items — or give a single space its own set from its ⋯ menu. • Day headers and dividers stay pinned to the top as you scroll, so you always know where you are. • Every "pick a space" menu now groups spaces under their folder. • Alternate app icons — Midnight, Blueprint, Sketch and Chalk, in Settings. • Copy a note or a task straight to your clipboard as plain text, ready to paste anywhere. • Undo — a floating undo button with a countdown appears after you delete or move something. • Settings → Items: wrap long titles onto two lines, and delete tasks automatically once you complete them. • Your account photo now sits at the top of Settings. Tap it to change it. • Invitations are back in the top bar instead of two taps deep in Settings. • Recent searches sync across iPhone, iPad and the web. • Tap a search result to jump straight to it — Niffler opens the space, scrolls to the item and highlights it. • iPad: choose 1–4 columns for the card grid. • Haptics throughout, a new toast design, and a fresh accent colour on every new install. IMPROVED • Editing an item saves and closes immediately instead of waiting on the network. • Search results are far more relevant — searching "pizza" no longer returns furniture. • Notes are much faster to type in, and the note placeholder now matches the rest of the card. • Better battery life if you've never connected a calendar. • Opening the Spaces panel and switching spaces are noticeably snappier. • Launch, notes and the add/edit card are all faster, and large libraries use less memory. • Items the assistant creates for you appear immediately instead of after a refresh. • Settings is reorganised into Account, Preferences, Data, Connections and About. • Files and images load faster, and syncing uses far less data. • Typography, empty states and accessibility labels polished throughout. FIXED • The add card could freeze and quit when you opened the Note tab. • Starting a note from the widget could draw it clipped against the edge of the card. • Items deleted on another device came back every time you opened that space. • A task added under a divider could disappear seconds after you created it. • Sharing one page from Safari could create two cards for it. • Ticking off several tasks from a widget in a row only kept the last one. • A crash when opening Search. • Favicons that couldn't be displayed now fall back to a working icon instead of a blank square. • Google Calendar stopped syncing after the app had been in the background. • Future all-day and repeating calendar events showed as though they were already over. • Recent searches could carry over between accounts on the same device. • Signing out and reopening the app could sign you back in. • Changing your account photo didn't update it everywhere until the next launch. • An item restored with Undo could quietly disappear again seconds later. • Deletions and edits in shared spaces now show up live on every device. • Blank lines in notes were lost on save. • The planner could still show yesterday after being left open overnight. • Large photos could silently fail to share. • Closing the in-app browser no longer makes the background snap back. • Sheets no longer vanish when you rotate an iPad.
