Garbage system
The app is garbage, and the cameras don’t even connect anymore. I have literally had zero changes in the system - no WiFi or wiring changes. This has been literally the most frustrating purchase I have made for my home.
Needs an update ASAP
This camera system needs an update ASAP!! It’s been 7 years since the last one and it clearly shows! This company should be held accountable for anything that happens like home invasions that results in theft or even death because their failure to update their app!! In any moment, seconds count, and if this app takes a longer time to open of fails to open at all, it could mean your life!! There’s gotta be a way to bring a lawsuit against this company for neglecting their app and failing their customers.

They quit supporting this app years ago, I still have my older DVR with my analog cameras and the website that kept updating my ever changing IP address is gone and has been for years, but my system works excellent but you can’t access my system online so it’s worthless until I find a workaround on my own.

Every time I wanna use the app, I have to restart my phone so that it will actually allow it to connect, maybe. Cameras are good, but it’s pointless if you can’t even remotely view them. Definitely will be going to another camera with an app that actually works when I need it to work.

They don’t stand behind there product. Once it’s outdated which wasn’t long after I purchased the system, they won’t update the app for me to be able to use the camera or app. There went 800.00 in the garbage.
No access
Why is that if I’m not on the same WiFi as my system I am unable to access, view or playback any footage. This is very frustrating. Will there be absolutely any new updates to accommodate this problem.

I guess once you have an older system six years old their app no longer supports live view

We have instolled this system in 2016. Wired all house. Spend lots of money on wiring and connecting all cameras. It’s never been working.

The cameras are good, but the customer service is terrible, and when the warranty expires they will never help you with the equipment or give you advice, and the price is too much for them not to help you.

I could no longer see my cameras on my phone after switching wifi providers, called the internet service but they couldn't do much about it.

My playback does not work at all should’ve kept my swann system.
Changing the whole system
I bought this system 8 years ago from Costco. The system runs fine but it is no good because the app stopped working properly 6 years ago. I was told years ago by night owl support I need to upgrade my entire system at my expense. I give it no stars. I will be up grading to another system.
