Accuracy - Fixed a false EMF spike at the start of every session after the first. The app was still holding the previous room's baseline, so walking somewhere new read as a huge field jump and bookmarked a spike that never happened. - Spike alerts now stay off until the field is genuinely settled, as the onboarding promises. They used to fire while the meter still read "WARMING UP" or "FIELD UNRELIABLE". - Sounds are no longer thrown away while the phone is in your hand, or before the EMF baseline has settled. They are bookmarked and flagged as recorded during handling, so you can judge them yourself. - A noisy room no longer hides EMF spikes. The field and sound channels have separate cool-off timers, so a run of noises can't mute the EMF detector. - The pressure readout shows changes in pascals. A door or a heating cycle moves a room by a few pascals, which used to round away to "0.00" and never appear at all. - Review no longer says a sensor was quiet when it was never recorded. Your recordings - A crash or a force quit no longer destroys the whole recording. Audio is written in self-contained chunks every few seconds, so you keep everything up to the last few. - A session cut short is now fully reviewable, with its real length and all its markers, labeled "interrupted" so it is never mistaken for a clean run. - Sessions you record while subscribed are yours to keep for good. Nothing in the app will delete them to make room, even if your subscription lapses. - Fixed a bad one: if your subscription lapsed, tapping START offered to replace "your saved session" and then deleted every session you had. It now replaces only the free session, names it, and tells you what is in it first. - If audio recording fails partway through a vigil, a full disk for instance, you are told right away instead of finding out afterward. Behavior worth knowing - Switching away from the app now pauses the whole session rather than leaving a gap in it. The phone's field and pressure sensors stop the moment the app is off screen, so continuing to record audio alone would hand you a sound with nothing to check it against. The pause and the resume are both marked in the session, and the screen stays awake throughout a vigil so nothing pauses unless you leave the app. - Settings shows your Investigator subscription, with a Manage Subscription button to change or cancel it without leaving the app. - Subscribing takes effect immediately: export unlocks right away rather than after reopening the session.
