Language Arts Can Be…Fun????
I got this app for my grandchildren. They were struggling with spelling and found school somewhat boring. They truly enjoy the Night Zookeeper app. It’s more like a video game for them and we all know how kids enjoy video games. It has helped with their spelling skills and that’s what I like.
Glitchy app
This has got to be one of the worst apps I have downloaded for my child to get help with reading. It randomly resets his progress, he has earned the energy bolts and but it has never given it to him on the main screen. It freezes up randomly and shuts down, it also doesn’t save his progress. I thought he was doing something wrong so I played an entire level just to see, started with 27 energy bolts, earned 43 in a level, and then it never added it to the total. It also freeze up when he goes to the den and will not allow him to decorate since the bolts will never update, when this happens the whole game freezes. For the amount of money we pay for the subscription this is ridiculous, save your money and go to ABC mouse.

Kids love it
My kids just started it this summer as supplemental practice for their homeschool classes and so far they love it. The only issue I have is after a quest it doesn’t go into the next quest so they get stuck playing games or making pets which is fine but I have to check to make sure they stay on task.

My son is a reluctant writer and this app has help him with his story writing skills.

Great app
It’s a fun app for my child to learn to write longer sentences and adding more descriptions. It’s interactive and the games are interesting. My child enjoys spending time on it.

Can’t tell what your kid has done daily
I have emailed support twice before I wrote this review and cancelled our membership. It’s sooo hard to tell what your kid has done and impossible to tell how many minutes of work your kid has done or even what they have done for the day. It wasn’t for us sadly. I need to keep track of what my kiddo does.

Homeschool success
In Australia, and trying to find a good program for the kids homeschool. That’s engaging and encourages their development. This one is perfect. The kids actually ask to play it. And laugh while doing their school work. I tried several different ones before stumbling on to this and I’ll never look back. It’s great.

My son loves it .. the game is exciting we bond very well- besides the glitches of having to restart the app or it freezing, the lessons and games integrated are really great! He is expressing himself a lot more!
I Love This App Buh Bye Lexia!
I have never really liked Lexia, but when my mom downloaded Zookeeper, I loved it! Theres so many options, (unlike lexia no offense) you can do soooo many things, too! I loooove the fun challenges, and the star writing! Thank u 4 making this app!!!!
Good but a few problems
I love this game. I’m homeschooled and I do this for part of my schoolwork! But a few problems
1: it kicks me out and puts me in the zoo sometimes when I finish a quest game and I have to redo it.
2: the Ais keep going ahead of me in spelling jungle when every I’m a millisecond off (sarcasm) and I get so angry.
Both of these happened today when I wrote it

I’ve been looking for a program that covers both writing and maths, with a curriculum based on grade level, for my kids, and finally found one. Don’t think twice, get it.

It is the most worst app it said I have to pay 5000 dollars per month
Fun and Educational for kids
Our child enjoy using this app. Adding more activities in the future would make it even better. Overall a great app for young kids,

So glad I purchased access after watching my gifted 10 year old stage engaged in the creative writing! Her favorite part seems to be getting access to designing a new character that she then writes about.
Education meets Fun
We have been using Night zookeeper for almost three months but I sweat it feels like we have been using it for ages because our students (7 and 11 yo) have learned so much in such a short amount of time. They wake up and beg to do their Night Zookeeper. As a parent it makes me feel better about letting them use their tablets. Still be mindful of the amount of time your kids spends in front of the screen though. It is educational but it does have the potential to be overstimulating. I think the best part is that they have both fallen in love with writing because of this program. Thank you!

This is a great resource for homecoming my kids! It has given them confidence with reading and spelling, while making learning fun, challenging, and creative.

Fun, engaging app
My daughter has been using the app for a few weeks and it has really helped her with her writing and creativity. She can use it on her own and she feels super successful with her stories.
Perfect for my homeschooler who HATES writing.
My third grade son has severe ADHD and we moved to homeschooling this year. He has fought tooth and nail about writing. I mean like writing anything on paper he’s definitely a Gen Alpha kiddo. The apps gaming system with rewards and such motivates him to actually ask for more screen time so he can finish a quest so he can get an orb or a reward of some kind. Thank you!
