Why did you change a perfect format?
Extremely disappointed that you removed the great music and inserted the cheesy AI driven sound of Bill Pierce voice -overs. My family and I enjoyed all the old shows. We will no longer support or listen. You ruined a great thing! It was timeless for a reason and “podcasting” a radio show is a horrible fit. Please put it back to the old format!

As powerful as years ago
I grew up hearing Bill late at night, every evening late as I struggled in my teen years. Now some 45 years later I find then even though the music is dated, the messages still bring tears and comfort like that of the old friend that Nightsounds still is.

Fast-forward is broken
Used this app happily for a long time. But the latest update crashes the player if you either manually slide the indicator to the right, or if you click on the “Skip ahead 15 secs” button. Please fix. Thank you!

I have loved this show for decades. Its so nice the decades of broadcasts have been preserved and are available to reach people
After first surprise I’m happy
The voice talking over the intro music only shows up on the first day- now I hear the sounds I grew up with all over again. I couldn’t be more delighted!
The obnoxious intrusion for money that destroys the intro ruins this app.
As mentioned by MANY other commenters, the funding request ruins the best part of Mr. Pearce’ s program. I grew up listening to this program and the intro was key to introducing a calm, restful, peaceful reverie… now I get a JARRING, intrusive, peace-destroying call to give money before I even have a chance to blink. 1/10 for that, gang.

Absolutely love this app
I love the pre-uploaded monthly episodes so i could listen to it not just night but whenever im stressed or sad. The soothing talking and peaceful music played at the beginning and throughout the episode is what makes me stay using this at night. My dad introduced me to this years ago and it helped me through so many sleepless and fearfull nights. Amazing app 😁

Love Nightsounds - comforting
Grew up listening to Nightsounds with my mom in the 90s. The opening music is so soothing and brings back such comforting memories. I now play Nightsounds when I lay down with my toddler. ❤️
Excellent App
I love putting on my headphones at night & listening, especially after a really stressful day. I have only one suggestion-I would love it if the next episode would automatically play without having to download several episodes. Like I said, not a complaint but a suggestion. Also, I don’t like the donation pitch over the opening theme song. For most of us, that music is the beginning of a relaxing & world-purging night. Couldn’t that donation request be put at the end of the broadcast? And I would still love the next episode to play automatically, or have a setting for that to be an option. Once again, no complaints, just requests.

I googled Nightsounds last night as I was battling insomnia yet again. I longed for the radio program we listened to back in the 80’s-90’s. When I found this and the music began, I couldn’t believe my ears. Then came Bill Pierce’s voice and I started to cry. Guess what? Before long I dozed off. So thankful to have found this app.

I miss Bill Pearce so much. Such a sweet spirit, and a soothing voice, and encouragement. These recordings are on of the most wonderful treasures of the world. God bless Bills family, and those who still keep his ministry going. I’m getting old. And many are going home ahead of me. These recordings remind me of my parents who graduated from Moody Bible Institute and Dallas Have Theological seminary.

Brings back sweet memories
So grateful to have found this app! I used to listen to this show all the time with my grandmother, when I was a child. I continued to listen through college and many nights fell asleep listening to the classic voice of Bill Pearce. The soothing voice of the host is just as inspiring as it was many years ago. As I have recently been battling illness, I find the messages of hope bring me a a sense of peace in a world filled with anxiety and uncertainty. I have been so blessed by these timeless messages, and I highly recommend this for anyone who needs a source of hope and strength.

Contact problems
I have listened to this program on Christian radio for decades and then on the app but the last three or four times that I have emailed questions to these people they simply just do not respond and I don’t know if they are completely unmanned or if it’s anything personal because I’ve emailed questions and they’ve had no response so the one star is for that reason but Bill Pierce‘s ministry is a five-star to me and I don’t think that he would like his listeners not being responded to.

My mother use to listen to Bill when I was a little girl. I am now 36 years old and this broadcast was and still is a gem! I’m thankful I’m still able to listen and support it such a blessed ministry.

Back in the 80’s when I got saved I remembered coming to find Bill Pierce in my local Christian radio station and I been a fan ever since, even on road trips I would search to listen to his encouraging messages and his calm and peaceful voice, now I’m happy to relieve those moments with this app.
