Great clock
I missed Nightstand Central when I got a new iPhone and iPad. This is a great replacement for it. Love the photos he selected. Responsive to email questions too. Thanks for making this app.

I love this app and have replaced my old alarm clock with this. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 due to the fact that I can not find a way make the alarm icon on the screen larger, it is too small to see
I’ve been waiting for this!
I haven’t had an alarm clock on my iPad since Nightstand Central was discontinued years ago, because nothing met those standards. I’ve continued searching for a “new” Nightstand Central ever since, and here it is! Nightstand Plus is almost identical and I’m so unbelievably happy and thankful to the developers for creating this! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
If you are reading this, I hope you will consider one small change , and that is the ability to move the clock around the screen and to be able to make it even smaller. On the original Nightstand I was able to shrink the clock and move it to the bottom corner of the screen so the focus was on the beautiful picture as if it were a framed photograph. Having the clock smack dab in the middle of the picture is a huge negative for me. You still get five stars because everything else is perfect and I’m hoping I’ll be able to move the clock out of the way in the somewhat near future.

I am so happy to find Nightstand Plus in the App Store. For years I’ve been babying Nightstand Central on an old, old iPad. It is my go-to for time, weather and alarms. Nightstand Plus works flawlessly. I was pleased that I could pay a one-time fee instead of a subscription. Great job!
24 hour clock option needed.
Almost perfect. Just need the option of a 24 hour clock.

Hi, Thank you for the review. Nightstand Plus will follow your device settings for 24 hour format, it also gives you an option to override those settings and force a 24 hour format.
Perfect Alarm Clock
For years, I’ve missed Nightstand Central, my go to daily alarm clock. Now, Nightstand Plus arrives and is an excellent revival of Nightstand Central. I was also happy to pay a one time fee for the app instead of a subscription! Thanks to the developer, who is very responsive to email and is enthusiastic about continuing to develop Nightstand Plus! So grateful for this
For something close to a decade, Nightstand Central was my everyday alarm clock. But since that developer decided to halt updates, it’s grown more and more flaky, finally beginning to freeze up at the very moment an alarm should go off. So it was an enormous relief to find this app, which is basically an updated and still-supported version of Nightstand Central. It’s currently missing a couple features I used from the original app, like fade-in alarms and sleep timer, but the extremely responsive developer jumped at the suggestion to try to add those in, so I expect we’ll see them soon. So: Great app and only getting better.

This is a great effort at replacing the old time gold standard, nightstand central. It is worth the money as it’s the closest anyone has come to the original. There a few missing pieces but I’m sure the developer will tackle those in due course.

Perfection
This app is exceptional. The idea might seem simple, but the aesthetics are a cut above every alternative on the app store. I love being able to shuffle a gallery of photos while my phone displays the time and weather, and this app lets me customize rotation intervals, clock size and position, and adjust the brightness on the fly.

Trying to replace Nightstand Central
Resent iOS updates made it so my favorite clock no longer works. This app comes the closest to mimicking the other. What makes this better than most clock apps is the simple time, date,and weather display. Also the feature to be able to set dimmer night lighting and it keeps that is so much better than other apps I’ve tried.
I am disappointed that I can’t bring in my own photos in the background. My old nightstand app had more photos to select from and you could use your own too. Also the rotation of every 60 minutes is a bit much. Should be a daily option.
I went ahead and paid the price for this app in the hopes they continue to develop it to have the features I used to get in my old app. I’ve been without a clock in my room for months because all the other apps are horrible.
