No writing practice
I downloaded this hoping to practice writing hiragana. There’s a menu item for writing practice, but when you tap it it says “Writing practice coming soon.” Since the app was last updated three years ago, I’m guessing “soon” means “never.”
I suppose it’s still useful for learning the kana, but I’ve found other apps I like better for that.

I've had this app to learn Japanese katakana and hiragana for years now and there have not been updates since 2015! What the heck, people! What happened? I have to find a different app just to practice writing.... please come back and finish your app! :c

A waste of time, it is not user friendly. It looks terrible too, and at first I thought I just got a bunch of pictures of the app because it simply ignored me and took forever to load anything.
Wondering if the above reviews are fake. It really is that awful.

Cette application est vraiment bonne pour apprendre les katakanas et les hiraganas, qui sont la base du japonais.
J'ai beaucoup de facilité à les retenir maintenant.
Il n'y a qu'une seule chose qui manque à cette application. Il faudrait pourvoir pratiquer les symboles, apprendre à les écrire.

Best free app I've found for learning hiragana and katakana, I highly recommend it.

I use this app almost everyday to help me practice but like everyone is saying, I'd really appreciate it if they came out with the writing update.

Not impressed
Just lists of hiragana and katakana. Quality of this app is so outdated and contents are way too "basic". I can just keep hiragana katakana lists in my album instead. (So I don't waste playing add to just check on the symbols)
Awesome app
I appreciate and grateful to the company for making peoples to learn japanese a lot easier. However, a zoom would be a nice touch on the home screen. Thank you :) it helped me a lot.
