Oh man. If only you knew what this could do.
Nevertheless it does not have auv3 support which remains its major flaw. Other than that it is nuts.
Great app
Great app, I just wish the UI had an option to increase contrast a bit. It is hard to see controls in certain lighting conditions. Other than that itβs a 5 star app.
Good, but...
Where is the AUV3 option? This is an amazing app. Please upgrade it!
Unique
I love Erik Sigth a.k.a. Humbletunes apps. Imaginative, inexpensive, innovative and like nothing else on iOS. Buy them all.
Like the old version more
I don't understand why the dimetradon is completely different from previous versions. The old version you put out way more interesting sound than this version. And it was awesome on a drum beat. This one feels like a step backward. The unpredictable nature is what made it great in previous versions of the app. That's gone now. Please bring that back. It was the most interesting and unique feature of the app. And my drum beats need it

DAMAGE your AUDIO CHIP! (Aka still One of a Kind!
Having perused some other reviews of Nils and being in an app review mood I thought I'd chime in... Hey guy who almost damaged your audio chip: push it into the red sometimes! Irritate the neighbors! Put some Celtic Frost on when your girl(or boy) friend is expecting the usual Kenny G or Sade selection! Go eat some SPICY Indian cuisine! Ha just f-ing with you but NILS = good fun for my (already battered) BCM4334. (?! sound chip)
Nils is awesome if you, like me, enjoy electronic music. And I don't mean Jan Jarre (although he is undoubtedly a legend). I mean industrial, drum and bass, glitch, noise, Hard Leaders, etc...
This hidden gem is truly cool and I find myself throwing it into the middle Audiobus slot OFTEN! I hope there are more sweet apps on the drawing board for this inspirational developer!

Quality app
Some very interesting sounds can be made with this app if you spend a little time trying different settings.
Lots of updates as well.

Dirty fun
On the surface, a delay and bit crusher, but way way more. Really opens up a piece to new possibilities. An essential effect for any musician's audiobus chain, especially for the price. Developer also very responsive and helpful.
Can't stop app from recording
As the title says the app has no obvious way of stopping it from recording. The instructions are no good. The dial controls are impossible to use.
I have no idea how it is supposed to work
Please read the title.
Very cool and well worth the money
Simple enough to use with some great real time effects for crushing. The audiobus support is great to see!
I'm still trying to unlock all this apps secrets.

Elegantly destructive
This app is a beautifully minimalistic example of the potential of touchscreen devices in musical creation. There are limitless possibilities with this app, without an overwhelming sense of clutter that many programs on all platforms inspire in many users. Well done sir.
nils
This is an awful app. No way to record on it. Waste of money. The developer should be ashamed of this product
Another win
I've been using shapesynth, sinusoid and kinetic for some time now. Nils does not disappoint. Nils makes great distortion, pitch shifts and echoes. ACP works and overall Nils is as described. Needs a few tweaks but overall it's great. Loop length seems to come out strangely and the play, stop, record and reset loop point buttons end up getting hit constantly while moving along the playback speed bar. It's by no means a problem though. The interface is built for experimentalism. Lowfi and glitch producers should get nils, it rocks.
