I’ve had my Nimble for about 3 years. The painting accuracy is not good and lately it will not recognize the polish capsules. So glad I didn’t pay $600 for this behemoth.
When it works, it’s wonderful
Funded this as a Kickstarter a number of years ago and have only just gotten around to opening it this year. The hardware is well designed and slick, the product, when it works, does a very solid job of painting your nails. However, the reason for my three star review is that the app and the device consistently lose track of each other partway through the manicure and there is no way to fix it other than a total restart. I’ve had to go through the tutorial manicure twice now because the first time I lost connection after painting four fingers, and there is no way to reconnect them. The second time it got confused and repainted fingers, Multiple times. The tutorials and FAQs don’t really offer solutions, they offer cheerleading and very basic explanations, but helpful suggestions. The customer service hotline is only open Monday through Friday. This is a solid version 1.0, but unless it can function more consistently, I wouldn’t pick one up unless you have the patience to spend extra time debugging what’s wrong.

It DOES work well
Skeptical at first- but after setting it up and going through the app instructions it worked well.
It is a very cool apparatus. It does take a little bit to get it set up through the application initially because you have to go through tutorials and things like that and do a practice run - but afterward it’s fairly smooth sailing.
I don’t use it as much as I want, but am going to try to make it a more religious effort because I’ve read that it gets better each time you use it. Over all I love it-
and although I was hesitant when I bought it, I’m glad I have it now.

Terrible Instruction - 3 hours in…
Purchased the device, downloaded the app. The instructions are horrible, and the lit button offer very little information. The app doesn’t even identify the WiFi network you’ve connected to, and frankly, is very unstable. The app advises “times” it should take for a task to complete with the device, but it’s never correct. Overall - a complete waste of an incredible idea, in my opinion. Save your money - spend $10 on an actually manicure.

User friendly. Well-Done Guidance
Once I ordered the nimble, received a link in my email with login info. I appreciate the thoughtfulness of the design as well as the comprehensiveness of the directions and tutorials. Made my practice mani very enjoyable and excited to use the device again!
