About
See beyond the label.
nimblls helps you understand what's really inside packaged food. Scan any barcode from imported cereals to your local biscuit brand and instantly see a clear, transparent score.
WHY nimblls
Every food label is packed with numbers, codes, and small print. Most of us don't have the time (or patience) to decode it in a grocery aisle. nimblls does the reading for you and gives you one clear score, along with the reasoning behind it.
WHAT YOU'LL SEE
- A 0–100 score based on real declared values — sugar, saturated fat, trans fat, salt, additives, processing level, fibre, and protein
- The full "Why this score" breakdown, so you always know how the number was calculated
- Additive risk categorization (Low, Moderate, High) based on general reference sources
- Allergen information and "may contain traces of" notes
- Processing level (based on the NOVA classification)
- Aspartame advisory for individuals with phenylketonuria (PKU)
- Palm oil detection
- Vegetarian, vegan, or non-vegetarian classification where declared
HOW IT WORKS
Point your phone at any barcode. nimblls fetches label data from the Open Food Facts database a free, open, community-contributed food database used by millions of shoppers worldwide. If a product isn't in the database yet, we tell you honestly rather than showing an incorrect score.
BUILT WITH CARE
- No account required
- No data collected
- No ads
- No analytics tracking
- Camera access is only used to scan barcodes — no images are stored or sent anywhere
- Scoring methodology references publicly available FSSAI, ICMR-NIN, and WHO nutritional guidelines. nimblls is not endorsed by any regulatory body.
