Terrible layout, so many ads and click bait.

The new layout is all over the place, hardly anything worth reading , a total failure !
New app not so good
Do not like the new app, the layout is bad, often fails to open, the whole app is disappointing, I use the 7 app now and keep away from the 9 app

This used to be a really good app. After the last update it is slow to load and full of ads. Such a shame.
Awful new format
This new format has more opinion than fact. News is all over the place. Go back to SA, Australia, world and for goodness sake, can we please have FACTS!
Not working bad local updates
Not working and yes the app is current. My state I’m in is poor for latest information. Need to find another website if this continues.

Nine News New App
I used to love this app. Every morning I would read through or watch the news clips and check the weather for the day. Since the update, I find it difficult to navigate, doesn’t contain content that is useful and there is no longer a weather setting for anywhere. I am deleting this app and will be looking for a better version from another channel. Deleting it now. Unusable for me now so it is just taking up space. I will update which is the better app for news content and weather forecast at a later date.

This has football news and celebrity news first. It used to be organized a lot better and more concise, seeing headlines at a glance. Had it for years but after the new update I deleted it.

The new format is garbage. And then Karl is sacked. Shame as I will now be going elsewhere.

Not loving the new update.
The previous version was much easier to scroll through relevant news items & more visually appealing. New version is bland & majority of stories are not so focused on local news.
Also when searching for the app on my phone it no longer shows up when searching the word “news”.

It sucks
Only news are ads
Apparently there is nothing happening in Victoria apart from ads. Not one story loads on the Home Screen or the latest tab. I’ve deleted it.
Good bye 9 News
Now doesn’t work on my lowly iPhone 8 running on iOS 16.7.16. Farewell.

No local QLD news. This is horrific. The worst app upgrade I have yet to see. I can sit with the ads but not even being able to see local news or weather?? What the?
Terrible
I always used the 9 news app previously but absolutely hate this version! If I wanted to watch pages full of adverts I’d go to facebook. I was using the 9 news app for catching up on actual news. I don’t like the layout either, it has no flow. I was reading a news piece I thought was Australian only to realise it was from America half way through. I was hoping I could revert back to the old version but it seems not. I’ll stick to the ABC or The Guardian for my news instead now thank you very much :(
