About
A good word. Someone you like. Your next move.
Ninetiles gives you nine letter tiles and a board full of possibilities. Build words, connect to the ones already played, and find a satisfying use for the letters in your hand. Balanced draws help keep racks varied.
PLAY WITH FRIENDS
Take turns through Game Center whenever you have a moment. Friend games have no speed bonus, so you can put the phone down and come back when you're ready.
ONE DAILY WORD
Everyone gets the same board and nine tiles. Take your time and commit your best play: your first valid move is your score. Share a result link with a friend and compare after you've both played. A new board arrives each day at midnight UTC, and unfinished attempts are saved.
FIND YOUR PACE
Practice against three computer opponents with different vocabularies. Try Solo Blitz for a short solo game that rewards quick words. Or choose Pass & Play and share one phone, with a private handoff between turns. More puzzles are available from Practice.
MAKE YOUR NEXT WORD BETTER
Review a finished game to see the words you played and alternatives you could have found. Put those moves back on the board to see how they fit. Look up words with the built-in dictionary.
MADE FOR YOUR HANDS
Pinch or double-tap to zoom the board. Drag tiles, or tap a tile and then a square to place it. The default rack puts five tiles above four, and you can choose another layout. Musical tile sounds, light and dark appearances, and optional reminders let you make the game your own.
FREE TO PLAY
No ads or in-app purchases. No advertising trackers or automatic analytics. Optional problem reports show you what will be included and are shared only when you choose to send them. Online games use Apple's Game Center.
