It does a great job of controlling the ninja wood fire grill. Can change from grill to bake without leaving my chair. Reset the timer too.

Pork Shoulder
I really like this thermometer. The app works great. Smoked pulled pork to perfection on my Weber kettle. Turkey breast in the Ninja Woodfire is next on the list.
Constantly loses connection
Works well overall until you start to use it in a Dutch oven or in a bbq with the lid closed: connection gets lost so not much use.

Amazing product
I have many Ninja products. But I am loving the Ninja 7-1 grill. And that it has this app to be able to turn it and pre heat is awesome. I would recommend this machine to anyone. Absolutely love this machine and app.

My son bought me this Ninja wood fire grill and we’ve cooked on it 2 to 3 times each week,the phone app makes it so easy takes all the guesswork out of it good results every time and we love the woodsmoke taste

For all the positives of purchasing the Ninja wood fire XL pro, the price, the ease of using, the app, the taste of the food etc etc, the biggest positive is how much all of us including kids has eaten together outside as a family.

Connection is intermittent. When it works, it’s awesome. I don’t like troubleshooting tech support when I should be grilling

Why is there a function to skip pre heating, when used doesn’t actually start the cooking count down? I’ve over cooked a couple times now since I set a time and it was wanting me to open and close the top, before it started counting down my time I set.
Not sure it’s the app or the probe, but temps jump way up or down and no graph of the temperature is given. In so many cases the temp jumps way up from 20 deg lower to tell me I’ve over cooked my meat.😤

Good to monitor
Tried this out on the BBQ and it worked quite well. I liked the function of the app and meat choice. The temps seems to be fairly accurate, however the cook time was not consistent and sometimes it just didn’t show. Hence 4 stars.

La dernière mise à jour rend l’application inutilisable avec le BBQ Ninja Woodfire. Alors qu’elle fonctionnait très bien jusqu’à maintenant, aujourd’hui je n’ai plus de Bluetooth malgré de nombreuses réinitialisations, et les modes Doux, Moyen, Vif ont été remplacés par les traductions Doux, À point et Bonjour 😂 Aux développeurs: Arrêtez d’utiliser l’IA pour traduire vos interfaces. On ne traduit pas "Hi" (abrégé de High) par "Bonjour" mais par Vif ou Haut 😂😵💫😵💫 Par ailleurs, l’application affiche le lancement d’une mise à jour à chaque fois que je l’ouvre. Résultat : je ne m’en sers plus et fais mes réglages en manuel. Un comble pour un appareil ProConnect. Dommage

Problème de connexion wifi
Très déçu de l’application qui n’arrive pas à se connecter au wifi et du soutien à la clientèles qui n’a rien pu faire pour m’aider. Je dois donc attendre une nouvelle mise à jour de l’app et espérer que celle-ci réglera le bogue de connexion au wifi…

Seems like the lawyers got involved and wanted to limit liability for undercooked food. Most of the charts take the food to wee done or burnt.
Not functioning after forced update
I love my Ninja products and this app was great. Unfortunately, they forced an update that broke the app and now I can no longer connect or monitor the progress of my Woodfire Pro XL, even after deleting and redownloading and connecting the app. It just does not work.
