NIPDS (Nurse Intuition Patient Deterioration Scale) is a clinical training simulator designed for nursing students, healthcare professionals, and researchers to practice and study validated patient assessment scales in a simulated clinical environment. FOR TRAINING, EDUCATION & RESEARCH ONLY This app is intended as a training and research tool. It is not intended for use as a clinical decision-making tool in actual patient care. All clinical content faithfully replicates real assessment workflows to support authentic and effective learning. VALIDATED ASSESSMENT SCALES Based on peer-reviewed research by Haegdorens et al. (2023, 2024), the NIPDS scale has 90% sensitivity and 92.7% specificity for detecting patient deterioration. Practicing with this tool prepares students and professionals to apply the scale correctly in supervised clinical and research environments.
