Has worked as promised for over 10 years! Had to restart my phone a couple times after the iOS 26.1 update before the app's very useful landscape feature worked as it always had, so keep that in mind if you have that problem after install!

Always used. Worth payment for colors/fonts. For trips, try this: place iPad (with power) in landscape, across from bed’s foot. High enough for head (half awake) to see glancing up in darkness. Open this app, full-screen, hour and minute only, Helvetica Neue Thin, this app’s “Work Time” theme (dark mode, of course). Slide your finger down the right side for a *mellow* semi-brightness. Hop in bed and fall asleep knowing you can fall awake and glance at the time whenever your primitive mind so demands.

Works great as night light
I’d like to see a version in which the numbers and background are reversed. In other words, an all-illuminated screen but with black numbers. Or perhaps a version in which you can individually select both the screen color and the time numbers color, such as a light blue screen and dark blue numbers.
I have to stay in hotels very frequently. This App makes for not only an amazing clock display, but also night light illumination in sometimes very dark hotel rooms!

Simple and perfect
A bedside clock that is customizable, takes up little memory, and collects no data. Simple and basic. What more could anyone want? Much better than iOS “standy” and all of the other clock programs I have tried.
Needs one more update and then I will give it five stars
#1 can/would you be able to update this app so The date is at the top of the clock plz and 2 when you're listening to music or just in general it needs a MusicPlayer at the bottom of the clock if you turn that setting on in the settings that way I can constantly be there and if you need to play music you can just play it from the clock and then if you want to go into the album you can click on the album and it will show the album and then show the clock in the day and time above them

Does one job, and does it well
I have a few iPads that are over 10 years old, so they will not run much current software. One or two of them are plugged in constantly and run as clocks with this application. The application has run 24/7 for many years with never a problem.
I like it on the iPad, because the numbers are big enough that I can see them at night in bed without having to put on my glasses! When traveling, I can run it on my iPhone overnight, while the phone is charging, and if the phone is close enough to the bed, I can still read the time.

Superb. Concise. Exactly right. The time and just the time.
Apple’s Clock is a Nite Time wannabe. All I want is a screen’s worth of the time. Plug in the iPad while I’m sitting there busy with something else—for there ARE other things—and have the time at a quick glance. Of all the other clock apps whose reviews I’ve seen, Nite Time is thd only one that fits. Check. Just the time, the whole time, and nothing but the time. So help me Nite Time. ((👨⚖️))

The status bar is now visible in iOS 16, ruining the night time clock effect.

Works very well
I have used this app for years. I use it on the dimmest setting through the night, and it does not disturb my sleep. I use the iPad clock for an alarm at the same time.
Pretty good app
One change would make it 5 stars. That change is the ability to dim the numbers even more. Even at its lowest setting it’s still decently bright if it was 15-20% less bright at its lowest it would be perfect.

Quietly, sufficiently, and helpfully this app has don nothing but to sit by my bedside for years upon years - both my home bedside as well as next to me while I've travelled.
No app that I have found over the years has been as functional and as aesthetically pleasing as this app, which serves its purpose as a night time clock.

great but..
makes my phone crash. something glitches everytime i use this app. the screen goes black and i can’t turn it on or touch any buttons for a minute or two. very frustrating. i’ve also tried screen recording this app, to watch the clock tick over to an interesting date and time (2:22 22-2-22), and when i watched the screen recording back, it was stuck on one time.

If this app had all of the things that where money you could make them free because some people can’t afford for the money things and I think that it’s unfair that some people can afford things that other people can’t.!!

Does not work with Apple iPhone Shortcuts. So, cannot be combined with others actions such as turning off lights and starting music.
Simple
Very simple to setup and very flexible with colours and intensity so is Not like a search light keeping you awake at night if you have the phone close.
Highly recommended.
