One of my favorite apps clear written gives you the information you want well done
If you want to take New Jersey transit forget their app. This is by far the best app. If I had to pay for it, I would pay for this app. That is how good it is.
Intuitive layout, super useful
As another reviewer stated, I have the official NJ Transit app to buy tickets. But I use THIS app for everything else. It’s just more intuitive and less button pushing to get exactly the information you need.

Usually the best for ‘real time’ track updates but lately it hasn’t been workin at all. Please fix!

Doesn’t work sometimes
Just use the NJ app. This app has a habit of showing no data when looking at your ride. If the train is late it says no data etc. don’t waste your time with it
Fix this issue
Love this app but the new update doesn’t show what track the train is coming on. It would be really great if you guys can fix the problem and make my life easier. Thank you!
Easiest to use
The official NJ Transit app requires tap after tap after tap to get to the information you need— its only real value is buying the tickets themselves. This app easily gives you schedules, alerts, train status, progress of trains in route and more. It’s stable and consistent. I keep the two apps side by side on my phone.

Use the official app to by tickets and for Departure Vision...but NJ Rails is the hook up for everything else! Timely and comprehensive information, good details, and easy interface. Terrific app.

My go to app for train schedules.
I have the NJTransit official app for buying tickets that includes live train schedules. A have two more apps with schedules. I can go to the NJTransit page and get them, so why this?
This app is the fastest way to see what train (and which track) is coming. Plus, I can follow a train once it leaves the station. Perfect if I know a friend left New York on the 4:57 and I am picking them up from the train station. I can see if the train is on time (and make sure I’m at the station) or is delayed for the innumerable reasons trains get delayed (and not waste my time at the station).

Stopped working
This was a great app but after coming back to it a year later, the train schedules all say No Schedules Available. Tried reinstalling it, downloading schedules, nothing works. Tell me how to fix it and I’ll update this review!
Much better than the official app!
Love the level of detail and that it doesn’t need a network connection (helpful at Penn Station!).
