I really like the audio of this app. It presents very well. The problem is that you cannot just listen through the Bible. If you stop for more than a few hours, it randomly picks a spot that it claims you left off at. Making it very difficult to just doa successive read through over a period of weeks. If it would just hold your spot, it would be so much better. Instead, it’s really obnoxious.

Disappointed
I purchased this app, it worked fine for a while now it’s not working at all. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling but nothing seems to work. I wouldn’t be so upset if I would’ve gotten it for free.
Frustrating
Every time I open my iPad, this app starts playing. If I’m watching or listening to something else, this app breaks in and starts playing. I have not found any settings to control this. There is a play button or a pause button, and it plays whenever it feels like it.
Overwhelmed
Technology can be a good thing. Carrying an expanded library of The Bible in any version and language gives anyone The Sword they need to fight any struggle life throws in front of you.
Does not automatically go the next book
The app is good but with one major issue in my opinion - after going through all the chapters of a book, it switches back to the first chapter of the same book instead of continuing on to the next book.
If they fix this issue, this is a good app which is reasonably priced.

App is Good but something needs to be fixed
I wish there is something in the settings to adjust and set it up to continue from where I left off.
Whenever I get into my car, it always starts from Genesis 1 even though I finished chapter 17 already.
There should be a way to set it to start from where the listener left off.

Parts of of this Bible is not the NKJV!
Numbers 34-35-36. It’s totally different. It needs to be fixed. The audio is very good but when the Bible you paid for inserts places that don’t match up... Be careful! I’m going through the whole Bible and will advise where I find mistakes!

This is great.....I just wish I could mute the music.
Mediocre
Seems to be the only NKJV audio bible available. Not too bad overall, but the voice acting for. Christ squire frankly terrible. Christ comes across generally as weak. Nervous, neurotic. Not bold, strong, authoritative and gracious. Needs a redo!
Pretty good!
I thoroughly enjoy the sound effects, but some of the voices sound a little silly. For instance, a man trying to sound like a lady, or a child and it is completely obvious. Also, chapter 6 is missing from 2 Kings. It literally jumps from chapter 5 to chapter 7. I’m listening chronologically so I haven’t had much experience with the NT yet. Overall, it is worth the money.

Love this audio bible. They use different voices for all different characters and narrators of the stories. Musical scoring in the background. Easy to navigate.

GREAT ... UPDATED REVIEW
This Bible app is exactly what I was looking for — dramatized NKJV with text and audio at an affordable price, under $5! At first I thought that I could not change the font size, but I was wrong. Tap the screen and you will see F+ and F-. Tap to make the [F]ont smaller or larger. While the text and audio are not in sync, since I have to do the scrolling, I am kept on my toes and I don’t “zone out.” You find the correct chapter by hitting the audio and book icons at the center bottom. Start the audio and then return to the book/text. If you want to pause the reading, tap the Player icon at the far left bottom to Pause. I’m not tech savvy, but I learned how to operate after a couple weeks of trial and error. Excellent reading/audio quality, and no translation beats the New King James Version (NKJV). For the price, an EXCELLENT app. The Word of Promise is roughly the same thing, but it takes up so much storage and is $40, almost ten times more expensive. I highly recommend this app as a perfect alternative.

Quite poor and disappointing. Cost £4.99 but will delete as soon as I find something better......sorry but just need to be honest.

As noted, the App is an excellent audio tool, but there are no other usable features or functions. No search function, topic illumination, etc.
Missing Bible text
Audio part is perfect but when you read the Bible there are missing text in the verses.
