Annoying ads
I like the New Living Translation, and I use it for my daily Bible reading. But this app is definitely not my favorite. On the positive side, it’s in large type and the font is easy to read, and it’s easy to navigate the app and find what I’m looking for. But unfortunately, there are lots of pop-up ads that appear when I’m trying to open a chapter. The most annoying ad is one for a video game app called Royal Palace. It appears at the most inconvenient times, and it won’t let me close it, so I have to wait through it until it’s over. It has nothing whatsoever to do with the Bible, and it exists solely to annoy the user. For that reason, I’m giving this app only 2 stars. Otherwise I’d give it 4. I’m going to quit using this app and find another New Living Translation app to use daily.

Doesn’t keep the page
It doesn’t keep the place … (book & chapter) where I stop reading each night . I have to remember it and go to the book $ chapter to continue.

Shouldn’t have to waste my time having to delete ads when I’m trying to read the Bible
