About

Breakups are hard. No contact is harder. You want to text them. You open the chat. You type the message. And then you wonder: "Should I send this?" That moment is exactly why this app exists. Here's to taking breakup journaling to the modern era to make sure you get through one of the most difficult phase of your life and come out better, either with getting your ex back, or healing enough to find yourself an even better partner. Write the message. Send it on the app. It will be saved, not delivered. Instead of texting your ex when emotions spike, you can write the message here. Say everything you want to say. Get it out of your system. But without actually them receiving it. Because most people don't regret the messages they didn't send. They regret the ones they did. Why this works? It also gives your ex a relief so they stop wondering about you as they know you still want them. So even if you want you ex back, texting them and breaking no contact is not going to help you. You can now download your breakup journal unsent messages! Idea is that with that report, you can use any of your chosen AI models to analyse your healing journey over time. With this you can see how far you've come, what still triggers you, and where your motivations are in terms of do you really want to just move on or are you still hoping for another shot with your ex, and if so, how intense your emotions have been over time. Example Prompt 1 for Understanding your journey: I've exported my journal entries from a breakup recovery app called Text Here Instead. Please analyze them chronologically and tell me: • How my emotional state changes over time. • What recurring thoughts or patterns you notice. • Whether I'm making progress or staying stuck in certain areas. • Any attachment patterns, limiting beliefs, or cognitive distortions you notice. • The biggest improvements you've observed. • The areas that still seem to need healing. Please be honest but compassionate, and support your observations with examples from my journal. Or you can take it a step forward with example prompt 2: The next steps Based on my journal entries, act like a thoughtful coach and help me move forward. Please tell me: • The three biggest things that are still holding me back. • What I'm already doing well. • Practical habits or mindset shifts that would have the biggest impact on my healing. • Whether I seem emotionally ready to move on or if there are unresolved patterns I should work through first. • One challenge I'd benefit from focusing on over the next 30 days. Base your advice only on what you see in my journal and explain your reasoning. Hope this further helps your healing journey :)
