NodCard Check-in

The door app for NodCard Pass events. Scan a guest's pass and the answer is on the whole screen: green for in, amber for already in, red with the reason. No squinting at a small banner while a queue builds. WORKS WHEN THE WIFI DOESN'T The guest list downloads before doors open. Passes are checked on the phone itself, so a scan is answered in an instant whether or not the venue's network is up. Check-ins queue and sync themselves the moment you are back online. SAFE WITH MORE THAN ONE DOOR Open a second door and both phones say so. While another door is scanning, a phone will not admit anyone it cannot record on the server, so nobody walks in twice on two offline queues. NO ACCOUNT NEEDED TO HELP OUT Volunteers can use the venue's own phone: the host issues a code for the event, and that code opens only that event's door, then expires with it. Staff with a NodCard account sign in as themselves. WHAT THE HOST SEES Every entry is recorded with the time, the gate and the phone that took it, so a check-in can always be traced back.
