I use this for monitor calibration checks when I don’t want to pull out all the sonar work stuff. It is useful in as much as the microphone on my phone is useful. A good app, which I have found great use for.

The Noise Guru dB Meter app offers a clean interface that nevertheless provides much useful info for studying noise exposure, including compass headings to help locate direction of noise sources.
